Review written 9/29/2025. tasty food. Unfortunately the Taco Johns in Champaign closed a few years ago but this one in Bloomington Normal still exists which is nice to have when traveling.

The potato oles are the real star. The rest of the food is good.

One of my guidelines for choosing a good lunch spot is if I see trades vehicles in the parking lot and Taco John's is a satellite guild hall.

Wonderful location, glad to see they put some work into updating the building. Small kitchen so it might take some time when busy, though the customer service is always on point. The tacos are nearly always more full at this location which I love.
