Lucca Grill in downtown Bloomington is an old-school Italian restaurant that has a lot of character. And their food is terrific. Lucca has great pizza and they offer classic pasta dishes and sandwiches as well. Call ahead for a reservation. There is seating on the ground floor, and seating upstairs. The first floor is where the bar is located and where pizzas are being made. It's busier than the upstairs, where there are seating options for larger groups. We love Lucca Grill.
Food is fantastic. All of it. I have not had anything here that hasn't been delicious. The pizza is my favorite. Service is fantastic as well. The servers are great. Always happy, upbeat and knowledgeable. You can tell they enjoy working here. Love the atmosphere. Good idea to call ahead and get a reservation, they fill up fast!

The food is incredible, you start smelling it as you walk up the street. Get anything, it will be good.
The service is friendly and efficient. And the servers work the room like players on a basketball court!
