Came into Mystic tonight, and I must say, it lived up to the hype. Drawn in by the positive reviews, I decided to give this place a try, and I'm so glad I did.Upon entering, I was greeted by a vibrant atmosphere. The ambiance was lively, with live music filling the air. It was the perfect setting for a memorable dining experience.I opted for the Cashew Crusted Salmon, and let me tell you, it was a culinary delight. The salmon was cooked to perfection, with a crispy cashew crust that added a delightful texture. However, what truly stole the show was the Parmesan lemon cream sauce. It was absolutely divine—rich, tangy, and bursting with flavor. Paired with the roasted asparagus, it was a symphony of flavors.I can't forget to mention the impeccable service. Our server was attentive, friendly, and made the dining experience even more enjoyable.Overall, Mystic is a MUST-VISIT destination.

It's between a 2 star and a 3 star... the food was good, but not great. The curry meal was not very flavorful, but the meat was cooked perfectly. The smoked duck Flatbread was very sweet! So sweet, that you couldn't taste the meat or any other flavor. It tasted like the only ingredients were honey (maybe not honey exaclty) and jam.The wine flight is not worth it. You get four, one ounce pours. Maybe they were two ounce pours? It was $20... and you didn't get to choose the wines. You can only choose sweet or dry. The sweet wines were good! But I would have rather had two whole glasses of wine for $20, but that might just me!The OMG nightcap was terrible. I drank it with the overly sweet smoked duck Flatbread. It was a terrible pairing.Waiters had nice golf shorts on. Others had jeans. A couple waitresses had really gross/scuffed/dirty tennis shoes. Definitely not the atmosphere I wanted for the price of the plate. I would go to chili's for half the price if I wanted my waiters in jeans and sneakers.

The food was delectable. And our server was friendly and attentive. The atmosphere is a little dated, but still pretty. I do wish they would get rid of the tvs at the bar. There was a man playing live music in the main space, and I feel like he was having to compete with the tvs.

So I am originally from Bloomington but moved to Chicago in 2018. This was my boyfriend’s first time visiting Bloomington this weekend and what a great way to start our trip! I used to work at this location years ago when it was Satio and I was pleasantly surprised to see that this new experience had taken its place. We loved the food and the drinks and they also were accommodating with us having our toddler. Everyone was friendly and it was just all around amazing. Highly recommend.PS: Perfect for an intimate date night.

We celebrated a birthday dinner at Mystic Kitchen and were very pleased with the entire experience! Our waiter, Parker, made helpful recommendations, both for food and wine. He was very pleasant and helped make the experience enjoyable. The decor was fun and we enjoyed the ambience - even with a full dining room, it was easy to converse. We'll definitely be back!

I usually feel like giving 5 stars across the board is unrealistic but Mystic Kitchen absolutely earned those stars. This has become my favorite restaurant in town very quickly. They have phenomenal apps including sushi flatbread (my favorite) and steak bites which my husband ordered and I was skeptical about. I ate my words. They were cooked perfectly and melt in your mouth. We could easily make a meal out of the appetizers alone. We also both ordered the filets as our main course the other night and without exaggeration, every single bite was amazing.I would highly recommend dinning here!

His place is wonderful. It feels upscale, but laid back. They have some unique dishes that you can’t find anywhere else. They have a great wine list as well as a good selection of cocktails. I had the bourbon smash and it was excellent. Definitely check them out.

Great wine somelia, Terri. Nice wine tasting experience! Chelsea (owner) is usually helping out in kitchen or the bar. I would have a reservation as it is busy...

My wife and I went last night for 60th birthday. We live in Phoenix but she grew up in Bloomington and we come here several times a year. We loved the ambiance of this place and the food was terrific, especially the Mystic salad, the salmon, the wine and the dessert tasting (I think that covers everything!). Our server, Parker, was terrific and took great care of us and made great suggestions. We'll be back!
