This review is only for our one dinner there. Other times we’ve loved this place. But tonight first we had to look for a menu bc only one server/bartender on duty, but she was friendly and efficient when she came. Food: liver and onions good; chopped steak OK; “premium side” Mac and cheese was right out of a quick fix box, and the coleslaw tasted funny. Also, I paid through the app (which I love), but when I got the receipt in mail, it recorded $2 more than I marked. Oh well, like I said, first time for dinner. Will only be going for breakfast or lunch in future. Still like the place.

First time having breakfast here and it was delicious. I had the breakfast burrito and my fiance had an omelette. Both out first visit.
We are opening are businesses here and wanted to try the food since it’s walking distance. We will absolutely be back to try the lunch and dinner.

Our experience was par at best. Our company had lunch there. We were seated got out drinks. I ordered country fried steak with Brown gravy. It came out with white gravy. I wasn't gonna say anything, but the waitress insisted on fixing it. They brought me a whole new plate. Upon eating the mashed potatoes with Brown gravy, they tasted like paint. The Brown gravy was not in my liking. My boss ordered his meal with a side salad. The salad came out with his meal. Not before. I don't know if I'm the only person out there. But I don't like eating my salad with my meal. I've always eaten breakfast there and never lunch.I think I'll stick to that.

Ordered the chicken fried steak breakfast. The steak tasted as though it was breaded in a fish fry seasoning and was gritty. The gravy was VERY salty. Hash browns and eggs were typical.
Good food. Not too expensive. But soooo busy inside you can barely hear yourself think. Still good though.

Hadn't been to Times Past Inn for some time and were pleasantly surprised to see the new brighter decor. Still progress but definitely a big change!
Breakfast was great as always. My friend had never been there before but her Mexican Omlette was beautiful and delicious! I had #6 eggs (over medium done perfectly) bacon (perfectly crisp but not burnt) and 2 big fluffy pancakes. Really hit the spot.
Our Server Terri(sp?) was great, friendly, helpful, knowledgeable and quick with the coffee refills!
Owner Matthew stopped by to check on us and advised the improvements yet to come. Very nice!
Times Past has it all great food, atmosphere and friendly service. I think this going to a new/old regular place for us!

This diner is a classic place I took my elder friend here after her early morning appointment she enjoyed it she ordered eggs, toast and grits. I ordered a vegetarian burrito it was ok (kinda gave me school lunch vibes)I would not order that again and just get some pancakes I feel like this place is a great staple here in Bloomington our server was so kind! Saying hello to new customers and filling up the coffee. There coffee is amazing ?. If you come here There are some vegetarian items but I would make sure to let them know you are plant based just order something simple and it will be tasty
