We were looking for a lunch spot that wasn't part of a chain as we were headed toward St. Lous and this had great reviews. The area had seen better days so we weren't sure what to expect. The restaurant isn't modern but was clean and busy. We had a bacon cheeseburger with nice, crispy bacon and a Monte Cristo sandwich - the ham was real (not lunchmeat), French fries were yummy. Waitress was helpful and attentive. Glad we tried it.

We love this place! Breakfast all day so you can sleep in and still enjoy a morning meal. The portions are generous, the pancakes are fantastic, the fries are super, and the staff is friendly. All in all a wonderful place to eat.
