Delicious eats and a wonderful staff!

Eew. Bubble tea was terrible (mild flavor, bad tapioca, small size ($7), “yum yum” sauce was flavorless and cost another $1, sushi was low quality, and chicken fried rice was awful. The rice taste like burned oil, was overcooked and mushy, sparsely topped with frozen vegetables, and was probably the worst I’ve ever had. I should have turned it away immediately judging by the way it looked when it was delivered to the table (imagine darkly colored mush with sad looking vegetables and strips of wrinkly chicken). Overall the meal cost 50$ and I left regretful and hungry. I should have expected low quality food from the way the place looked…if I were you I’d stay away; Kobe has significantly better food at the same damn price

We’ve ordered takeout from Yumz before and it was just as good as when we eat in there. But this last time we ordered 2 sushi rolls pad tai and a couple other things, not sure what happened but the sushi rolls tasted really bad, like to the point we felt sick as we were eating them, the pad tai was super bland, and everything else was just bleh. We will not come back which is a shame because it used to be some of the best in town in our opinion.

We tried four different sushi rolls and they were all good, but we thought a couple were kinda bland. The sweet potato roll was my favorite though. I highly recommend that one. When we picked up our food the workers were very nice and had everything ready to go for us.

We lunched at Yumz! yesterday and had a great experience. The menu is incredible-so many choices of rolls and sushi, for example. And their chicken fried rice is terrific; one of the few I've ever had that required no further seasoning nor soy sauce.

Visit them soon and let's keep this place in the Bloomington/Normal restaurant rotation!

Yumz Roll & Coco Mango rolls. I used to work at a sushi place in NC.. this sushi right here, best sushi I have ever had. Even the onion soup was rich with flavor. I usually use yum yum sauce.. but with these tasty rolls, I didn't need it! The coconut sauce, I was scraping every last bit. It was amazing. The server is the sweetest lady. Hot sake is always great with sushi. The filet mignon on top melted in my mouth. Tempura batter was light and delicious. I almost went to kobe...Im glad I didn't.

I was really impressed by Yumz! The ambiance was really nice and fancier than I expected on the inside - it's a nice place for a little date night. The sushi was GREAT and very reasonably priced! Will definitely come back.

Waited a long time for my 3 sushi roll and one nigri roll that I ordered . Was told 30 min wait but end up waiting more like 50 to 55 min. But restaurant isn't busy there only one table seated. They are getting mostly togo orders. Sushi was reasonable price like other sushi place back home. Had to pay additional for siracha sauce. Sushi was pretty good and Staff were nice though.
