“Just had their steak (carne asada) tacos! Absolutely fantastic! The green salsa is on point! Very generous on the size of their tacos. I'm extremely picky when it comes to getting tacos in fact I only like my tacos from one or two taco places in all of Chicago. This is my first time coming here and this spot just got added to my small list. I will most definitely stop by this place whenever I'm around this area. Thank you for the great food! “A hidden little gem across eisenhower high-school it's a tiny nostalgic hole in the wall place and they made the space cute. I came with my husband the first time today for the morning of our wedding. The coffee was fresh, hot, and the right kind of strong. I asked for three cups lol. I got the eggs Benedict and the food didn't come out too quickly, cause if it does it is a sign the food may not be entirely made from scratch. But the chef a older Hispanic male was doing the cooking and you can see into his kitchen set up he makes everything from scratch and doesn't cut corners. My husband got the tacos. The eggs Benedict was honestly the best I had, he actually made scratch made hollandaise sauce and the egg a perfect poach, he even topped the Hollandaise with a whisper of nutmeg. And the hashbrowns and bacon were the perfect amount of crispy. My husband liked his tacos he said they were seasoned well and it came with homemade red and green salsa. My husband is picky and if he doesn't like something he won't take left overs home, but he took his home and ate them after the wedding cause he said it was tasty. I told the waitress that no joke this was the most delicious breakfast I had in a long time- cause it was! They close at 3 cause they are a breakfast and lunch spot but support thus local business cause they are a true hidden gem! Will definitely go back 😄”

“This is clearly one of the last diners in Blue Island or surrounding neighborhoods. It was SO nostalgic inside, right down to the kinda-padded seats on the booths. The food is tremendous in taste and price and so was the service! I’m glad to see “staples” like this have survived and could give lessons in good old fashion dining. Thanks DeMars!💛”

“Very clean bar. Italian beef sandwich and Sicilian pizza was delicious. Bar staff seems to be very friendly. There is quite a lack of parking at this facility. There was only three people in the bar. Went on a Monday before 4th of July 2024.

I did hear they have karaoke on the weekend so hopefully I'll be able to check that out very soon.

If you have an opportunity I would definitely check out Cuzin's.”

“The menu would surprise you the way you can combine traditional mexican dishes with a pizza but i had tried the majority and i would say all of them are really good! Not only the pizzas but wings, fries, etc. I had order for catering and the service is as great as the food. This is a place i can recomment to anyone. Definitely check out the menus variety. 🔥🔥🔥”

“First time here and I loved it! I came during that quiet time between lunch and after work. They have locally-made gelato! They have an AWESOME barista! I am really sorry I forgot to ask their name. Whoever was working Tuesday afternoon, you are great, thank you. They make their own syrups, y'all AND THERE IS WINE, by the glass or bottle and they're open til EIGHT! And there's Open Mic tomorrow (Wednesday) night!! Signups at 6:45!”

“First time here and so glad I gave this place a try. One of the most delicious bagels I have ever had. Prompt service even though they were very busy. Very cute decor inside. I will definitely pay another visit and try one of their coffees. I’m not really into desserts so I can’t rate their desserts but you can if you pay them a visit .”

“Had the pleasure of hosting my first baby shower here a few weeks back, and despite the covid issues we were still able to pull off an amazing party! With the help of the owner Jessica! Everything was wonderful, plenty of space for guests to keep a social distance, bar option available, a nice stage and Dj booth for music. Everything was very clean and modern. Jessica even helped us get decorated and set up. I couldn't have asked for a better venue! Everything turned out beautifully! Thank you City Limits! We will definitely be returning soon”

“I was skeptical to this order here because it was a new restaurant from Uber eats so I decided to go in and let me tell you the wings were so fresh and delicious. It did not disappoint. They had very good crinkle cut french fries which in my opinion is perfect. Only thing is I I wanted mild sauce with my chicken and they serve barbecue sauce which was pretty good but at the same time it is not mild sauce. Can I say anything bad about the fried Chicken wings? They were great. I highly recommend this place for chicken wings over sharks or JJ fish okay and chicken or any other chicken neighborhood spots much better than Popeyes. The service was great. I am learning now. Some of the best fast food can be found at the gas station. This one gets my boat of approval.”

I’m now addicted to these caramel cappuccino blast they get it right every time ? ? thank you guys and let me tell you this parking lot was full!!!!! More than 15 customers and they handle them quickly you are out of there pronto with quality service ! All in all I will be coming here often thank you ?”

“The best thing about this place is its 24hrs. Oh yeah! So when yours not sure whom is open just head to subway, very kind people work there.So stop in ,eat there if you want,but not sure about delivery? So Blueisland and so.chicago eat early or late.”

“Went for the first time with a group of friends! I wasn't really sure what to expect but we were presently surprised! The drinks were tasty and very affordable. The staff was very welcoming and nice. Theres a pool table to keep you entertained as well. The bathrooms are very cute, clean and well kept! At 10:15 there was a drag show and all the performers did a wonderful job! There was a good mix of performances too and the mc was a delight. We got there an hour after opening and there wasn't many people but once 9:30 hit the people started to trickle in and by 10:45 the place was almost full. From what I say the demographic seemed to be around late 20s/early 30s and up.”

“For the life of me I don’t know why pizza places don’t just offer breadsticks the way Olive Garden does. We waited around 40 minutes for our food, and sure, we could’ve ordered appetizers, but we were already looking at about $60 for a signature thin crust that was recommended to us. For a table of two, once you add drinks and tip, it gets a bit pricey when you can just go down the street to Little Caesar’s and get a pretty decent pizza for seven dollars.

The dining room felt cramped, the tables were divided but the next family was maybe 2–3 feet away, so everyone can pretty much hear your whole conversation. Takeout might be the better option.

The music was modern, but suddenly we were listening to K-pop demon-hunter style tracks, which didn’t feel like something everyone would enjoy while eating pizza.

last but not least, you’re probably waiting for the actual food review. we ordered the onion, mushroom, and sausage combination on the signature thin crust. it was good. the edges were a little burnt, and the slices were cut into squares, so you already know everyone goes straight for the middle pieces. I didn’t dare add extra toppings because I wasn’t sure if it would drown out the flavor.

overall, it was good, but I’ve had better from villa pizza in mattoon and sullivan. the cheese was cheesy without going overboard. the sausage was okay, but they don’t offer italian sausage, which is kind of what you expect on a pizza like this. honestly, if you want to try the beggar’s pizza, just pay the $7 from the gas station for a slice.”
