I was not a fan of my margarita. I ordered a classic margarita, and it tasted like a canned/pre-made margarita. There was no taste of tequila and it was $9.75. I also was not a fan of the chicken tacos. I want to say that maybe the corn shells were not good.

We had shrimp tacos that were pretty good. Chios and salsa was horrible had the carne tampiquena and it was the toughest steak I have ver had. It was impossible to cut or chew and was stringy. I tried to eat it but gave up halfway. My gf had the breaded shrimp. Literally like 8 tiny was butterlied shrimp. Not worth the money. Go across the street to el camarón coqueto. They’re much better. Oh yea. Horchata is good but the tamarindo is too sour.

Presentation of the shrimp and cheese empanadas was nice. Taste was horrible. I don't know if it was from freezer burn or bad oil, but we had to send it back. They took off 50% of the empanadas like they were doing us a favor. Outside of that the service was OK. I had the huachinango el patron. Flavor was great but the flesh of the fish was kinda dry. My wife had the mojarra frita. No problems with that. Great flavor and the flesh of the fish was moist as well. Great ambiance....
