My daughter and I went for a late breakfast early lunch @ 9:30 on a Tuesday. We both ordered sandwiches that come with soup. Our sandwiches came out less than 5 min after we were served our soup. Soup was good. I ordered a Monte Cristo. Ingredients were sliding off the French toast. I had to ask for raspberry jam and powered sugar. Again a long wait. Jam was so thick I could stand my fork in it. Fries had a weird taste. Sent it back. Daughter ordered a veggie panini. It was ok. Mediocre. My sandwich was removed from the bill. However I noticed tax 1, 2 3, on my bill. They tried to charge me $1.50 “tax” twice. When the asked about it I was told they had no idea. But removed it. Sounds a bit scammy to me. Even $1.50 tax on a $14.99 sandwich is high. Food tax is 8.75. It’s not the small amount it’s the idea. If they do that to everyone and very few if any notice they are making lots of extra income. I won’t be back.
Excellent Farmer’a Market skillet with steak added. The biscuits are delicious!! Pricey for brunch/breakfast but totally worth it. Cute place but was seated next to two parties that were very loud. I also loved they have a loose leaf tea option. My server was good but not friendly or personable. Overall the food is worth it. You might be better off ordering take out so avoid the server.

If you are within a hundred miles of this place, it's worth the drive. I'm from Louisiana but I have been eating here for over 10 years and they're as good today as they were 10 years ago. I went today and I thought I would time the service from when I sat down; coffee, 2 minutes, chicken & rice soup with 2 rolls, 6 minutes, piping hot, perfectly cooked patty melt, 13 minutes. I never had to ask for a coffee refill and I got 3. The food is like home cooked, hot and delicious. I've never had a bad meal here and I always have enough left-overs for another meal. For $22, it's a deal. I'll always stop by when I'm here.

The nasty biscuit is delicious, crunchy chicken, gravy is amazing, best thing I have ever had from here!
The food was pretty good and our server was friendly, though there were a couple of issues with things not being brought out when they should have been. Overall she did a good job and it didn't ruin our experience.

Terrific little spot for a quaint meal, the menu is extensive and choices are copious. With very friendly staff and speedy kitchen output, I would highly recommend for great comfort food at a fair price.

We stumbled upon The Tasty Biscuit while in town for a wedding and ended up coming back twice—it was that good. Despite a packed parking lot both mornings, we were seated right away thanks to their fast, efficient service. The coffee was excellent, the menu was full of creative and classic options, and the food itself? Quite possibly the best breakfast we’ve ever had. On our second visit, we even recognized some familiar faces from the day before—clearly, we weren’t the only ones hooked! If you’re anywhere near this place, don’t miss the chance to stop in. Your taste buds will thank you.
