FANTASTIC FOOD! Go for the breakfast! It is worth it!
Not that I wouldn’t recommend the Bonnie Cafe in Bonnie but sure hope you get a different server than we had (Laura). Unfriendly, inattentive,brought our food and then was not to be seen again. Had to ask twice for hot sauce and didn’t bring the piece of cake that was supposed to come with dinner. She appeared to not want to be there. The other server waiting on neighboring tables seemed to be excellent. Food was delicious

Bonnie Cafe is a nice Southern Illinois diner with large parking. The staff is friendly and handles special requests well, accommodating various dietary needs like vegetarians. The menu is extensive and includes daily specials that provide many options for dining pleasure. The omelet is delicious, and the blackberry pie is amazing. Other popular items include the bluegill sandwich, baked ham, fried porkchop, country fried steak, and ribeye sandwich. Ice cream servings are generous, but some toppings could be better, as they were frozen. The restaurant is known for great food and is one of the best locally owned spots in the area. If you are passing through Ina, IL, it's worth stopping by for a meal that hits the spot and is kid-friendly.
