I just learned something
Don’t go late in the season
Ordered chili cheese dog no chili and couldn’t see the cheese lol Italian beef wasn’t as good
But all summer they were excellent
Hot dogs were decent though they could have been bigger for a chicago dog, pretzel was good, fries were good, and onion rings not what we expected

Wonderful Chicago style drive in. The food is delicious and affordable and the Tenderloin patties are almost twice the size of the buns.

Went to the one just off covenant. Boy that was a mistake. Ordered a Chicago dog and a chili dog. I’ve been going to the one on the river mostly for over 50 years. It was the worst Chicago dog I’ve ever had. Dill pickle chips no sport pepper or tomato. Smothered with jalapeño peppers!! Never again I’ll stick to the original one on the river.

Great tasting Coney Dogs, they call them chilli dogs...I grew up in South East Michigan where Coney Dogs were everywhere.... Atmosphere is a three only because it's basically sits outside your drive in

This is honestly nostalgic for me. And I don't think it'll ever be not good unless the owners sell to someone who doesn't know how to do

Extremely disappointing experience. The staff was rude and dismissive when my elderly mother politely mentioned they had forgotten the cheese on her order. She had to open the bag and prove it to them before they begrudgingly handed over the missing cheese. On top of that, the fries were soggy and unappetizing. The food and service here are both subpar. Would not recommend.

Not as good as the one to the South by the river. Service is good. No salt and vinegar fries here and the Chicago Dog is nothing like the other location. They even put jalapeños on them here and the pickles are chips. That's not how you make a Chicago dog. Maybe it's a different Chicago, I dunno.

They quickly provided a large quantity of Italian beef and fries, delicious, for our work emergency, due to the power outage. Thank you very much for your kind service!

It is more of a novelty to go here. The prices are much to be desired, even before everything went up. But overall not bad.
