Golden Mine Family Restaurant

The owners here are not to be trusted. My oldest daughter was working here as a waitress for a couple of weeks-and was truly enjoying it! Then, there was a mix up on one of her orders with a customer. The customer was extremely difficult and rude. However, my daughter was polite and tried to make everything satisfactory. Even the owner/manager told her not to worry about it. The next day my daughter gets a call from one of the waitresses and tells her not to come in, and that she was being let go. The manager didn’t call her, a waitress did! So, someone makes one mistake on an order and they get canned? When did managers stop mentoring workers and keep them set up for success. What an absolute shame.

This place was so bad the water was nasty, the steak was dry and flavorless. I couldn't eat it. The food was inedible. Fries were dry and they forgot to bring my fries and pop. It was so bad. The waitress didn't know nothing about the food.. she said she doesn't work in the kitchen. Horrible horrible service horrible food all around bad experience nothing was good in there...

Stopped in to eat dinner and it will be my last time EVER eating here. The food SUCKS !! ordered A rack of ribs and they were extremely dry. French fries weren't fresh they were frozen from a bag and just fried, Nasty as well. Mac and Cheese were extremely Nasty and watery!! Also don't have a cup of water it has a bad taste. If you don't believe me go try it for yourself!! Only thing I had that was worth my wile was my can of Coco Cola !!!

I've been going to this restaurant since I was a child due to my aunts love of the place. It has always been a great spot with reasonable prices. The people here have watched me grow up as well as my own children and the service has always been excellent and caring.

Waitress was very nice and attentive. I was there for dinner and had the Cream of Chicken with rice soup and the Broiled Rib Steak with a salad. Let's start with the soup. I looked like porridge and had zero flavor. Really tasted like warm, thick mush. I was able to eat it after I put about 3 top of salt and 4 tap of black pepper in it. The salad only comes with lettuce, cucumber, and tomatoes. So if you are looking for more in a salad, then don't order. The salad was probably the best part of my meal. It seemed pretty fresh, and with enough salad dressing, it wasn't bad. The steak, however, should not be sold. This was by far the worst steak I have ever eaten. After work 13 hours, I didn't have time to go anywhere else to get food, so I coated it with A1 and choked most of it down. The person with had the same order, and he took his to go and threw it away as soon as he got to a trash can. He didn't want to hurt anyone feelings. I have had the breakfast here, and I would say it's basic breakfast about a 5 out of 10 nothing special.
