Tonight, my wife and I drove out to try this place. I will say the service was excellent and our waitress went way above and beyond. However, the reason we were there was the food. I know I can be picky when it comes to BBQ, steaks etc. I got the pulled pork and basically all I tasted was sauce. No flavor of the meat. BBQ sauce is supposed to compliment the meat, not be the taste of it. In my experience, when people drown their food in sauce it's for a reason, and its usually...
I haven't had a bad dish yet! We love their fish and that's saying something because I am very picky about fish! I also enjoy their burgers and the pork chops are fantastic! We make regular trips over because the food is so good and it's over 30min from home.
The food was very good here. Service was excellent. I had a really great breaded tenderloin sandwich, but the fries were excellent. The menu had a little something for everyone. It has a nice atmosphere as long as you are alright with being in a bar. They have great pool tables also.
