My husband and I stopped for BBQ on our way to a concert in St Louis. This wasn’t a planned trip obviously but we just decided on a whim to try it. Boy were we surprised!!! Not only were we greeted with such a welcoming, friendly vibe but we were offered samples before we decided what to order. The portions are large, the smoke flavor was on point (not too much but just right), pork belly with crisp and juicy meat, and brisket so tender and amazing. The owner even chased us...

Today, we ate like kings. When we first entered the establishment, we were greeted like family. They asked if we would like to sample the meats to help decide what we would dine on today. We ordered and received very large portions of food. The brisket and pulled pork are top-notch. As good or better than the more popular bbq restaurants in the St. louis area. We left with our bellies full and enough leftovers for lunch tomorrow. Oh, and the cornbread. The cornbread is amazing....

Super friendly, great service, explained their process on the meats. I had the brisket, it was good. The thing that stood out the most was their Jalapeno brisket cornbread. Yes that is right, all of that in a hearty size of sweet corn bread. It was awesome.
