We drove through the area and stopped for lunch. Good food and a little nostalgic vibe. Our waitress was great.

Carmona's Country Kitchen is a nice, little, clean Cafe in Brighton, IL, offering a small town cafe with a great comfy country living vibe. They have a very interesting, unexpected menu; that's a compliment. It is an eclectic mix, including Chorizo breakfast burritos that were really good, a quesadilla for breakfast that was amazing, and fresh and fluffy pancakes. The service is spot on, fast, and friendly, with a waitress who was amazing and had a smile on her face. The staff is friendly and attentive, and they even had REAL butter. Everything came out in a timely manner. The prices are very affordable, making it a great value. While the croutons were very hard and the mashed potatoes were lumpy, overall it was great. Carmona's has a great mix and really does deserve to stick around.
