I hadnt been here in years and hoped with new owners, it would be better. Nope, still an average diner. Nothing to write home about. It is clean and cute on inside.
We went around 9 on a week day. Not busy at all.
Waiter is not enthusiastic, but personable.
Ordered the egg special with ham (not off the bone) though it was supposed to be.
Scrambled eggs stiff asked for medium. Bacon was ok. Loads of hash browns with no flavor. Toast and english muffin, not good
I will give them another try. Everyone deserves a 2nd chance.

Bring cash. They want you to pay their credit card service fee...that's all part of being in business. Figure it out like others businessess do.

I think the manager or owner was there. He smiled, but didn't really acknowledge or thank us for coming in.

This could be a stellar location with a little extra effort. Focus on providing good food at fair price with courteous service and the place would booming.

I passed this place everyday and today I decided to have breakfast. Worst decision ever. I will never leave my favorite breakfast spots in Oak Brook or Lagrange. My breakfast was served with mold on toast. The easiest thing to make, and no one sees the mold growing on it? Ugh, I couldn’t have another bite. On another note, my hubby plate was good except for the cold bacon. lol keep driving and don’t stop here.

Edit my review. Food and prices good. Service sucks. Forgot item and offered no refills. Only saw waitress 3 times. One to order, one to get food, and once when she dropped off the bill. Staff actively avoided customers.

Cannot share any review on food when I sat there for 30 mins and never got my order; after everyone around me received their food before me when they had come in 10-15 mins after I had sat down and ordered I could not wait any longer I had an appointment

I definitely recommend the turkey club , with the soup and potato salad 9/10. But , I would not recommend the breakfast skillets!! I had to send that dish back .
