Chicago's Chicken Shack Broadview

Unbelievable my husband drove an hour the okra was burnt ,dry and overcooked the wings were overcooked and tasted as if they were cooked in dirty grease and I honestly don't know what kind of fish that was. First advertises as 3 fillets but the reality is that it's a fillet and 1/2 it's was super salty super thin not flaky at all this was unlike any catfish I've ever eaten it was dense and dry also worst waste of money nit worth driving back to return needless to say I threw it all away even the hot sauce was extremely salty and the mild sauce tasted weird. So very disappointed 😞

I ordered from here yesterday and spent $74 on the worst food imaginable. The chicken on the inside was rubbery! I couldn’t even eat it. When I looked at the inside it separated in ways I’ve never seen chicken separate. It was like eating a bunch of tendons or something. I actually question if this was the new lab grown chicken they approved for sale. If someone wants to talk to me about my experience I would love to speak with you! My daughter wouldn’t eat it and my mom wouldn’t eat it.

Let me just start by saying that this place is an Absolute Gem. The food was so amazingly delicious, Chicken was super fresh I ordered a 20 piece and not a single complaint whatsoever every single 1 of them was seasoned & cooked to perfection & let's not forget about there sauces which are perfectly made. Hands down the best Chicken spot around the area I'm so glad I gave this spot a try. I will definitely be back ???

First time, last time customer! The service was a bit slow but expected if they are making every order fresh. The people were very friendly, but the chicken was rubbery, and the prices are on the high side, too. Nearly $25 for lunch one person. Granted I had some leftovers to bring home but even cooking the chicken more at home, it remained rubbery and inedible. It's a shame, if they had GOOD food I wouldn't complain about the high prices.

The place is not the best, but it is ok. Service is fantastic, people there are incredibly nice. But food honestly was a bad experience, really, really salty. Chicken, sauces, super salty. I couldn't eat any single chicken piece.

Literally THE BEST CHICKEN AROUND. Shark's used to b my fav- they DON'T EVEN COMPARE. If it were up to Mi I'd be there for breakfast lunch and dinner. I have no shame, I WILL be bringing my big back up here as often as possible. Currently otw from DT so I can be there RIGHT WHEN y'all open. PLEASE BRING BACK THE LAVENDER LEMONADE!! ??

ATTENTION ALL VETS! BY FAR the best chicken I've had in Chicago! I took one bite and wanted to immediately write this review, but I had to finish eating it, first! I ordered the 10-wing meal and a 12-shrimp meal, I took one bite of the chicken and instantly regretted not ordering 25 wings! Legs & Thighs are also available, I'll come back for those! If you're on Roosevelt Rd near the Hines VA hospital, this is the ONLY chicken place you want to go!

I am in town for a concert and weekend getaway with my partner and I told him I was in the mood for some fried chicken. Like some real, bone-in, slightly greasy fire chicken. He suggested Harold’s and somehow the gps landed us at Chicago’s Chicken Shack. Being pregnant, and just having had walked all up and through IKEA, I told him we were not looking for a Harold’s and this would just have to be an experience. Ya’ll…. Let me tell you…. I ordered the My GF Ain’t Hungry 2pc wing w/ fries, a small order of fried okra, and a blue koolaid…….. I bout walked back in there and asked for a hug and said girlfriend is that hungry and ordered again!!!! If it weren’t for the fact that this baby is messing with my eating capacity, best believe I would have been right back in. I told my boyfriend we better come back tomorrow before leaving town because bay-bee… yes and yes! Thank you for the awesome food and amazing portions! See, I knew when I walked in and saw that the only drinks they served were bottled water and cool-aid. This has to be good,and I was right.I had the sample plate wings, perch, shrimp, pickles, orka, coleslaw,fries, and a slice of white bread.Yep, I should have known 3 different cool-aids. Yes, the cook throw down for me.I've tasted them all using the fries to cleanse my palette. Yep, it's good. No one dish overpower the other.I only peeked at the dessert enough to know where I going for my next cheat treat.
