I always love Uncle Remus I went to the one in Broadview IL it’s very clean spacious dine inn restaurant nice employees now the food is very fresh and the fries love them the sauce is so good sticky sweet and good on that crunchy crispy chicken love it please try it want let you down the world is high as in pricing but don’t let that stop you.
Before I get started I’m from the south side so I’m basically pro Harold’s. The chicken was decent but seasoned like Harold’s with a kind of sweet mild sauce. I’m not gonna lie the sauce kinda hit but Harold’s mild sauce is undefeated. We got our food pretty fast. It was fresh and hot. The price in my opinion was kinda high but I was happy to support.
I've been a fan of Uncle Remus for years. I have to say the Broadview store has declined significantly. Okra and Gizzards were fried too hard, small pieces with to much batter, could hardly taste the product. The owner/manager needs to reacess the value of the offerings at this store. All out of ❤️ rated five so it shows at the top not because any of it was good.
