I recently relocated to Brookfield and was seeking a pizzeria. I noticed a Paisans nearby, but the reviews gave me pause. Intrigued, I decided to give it a try and was pleasantly surprised by the quality of the food from this local establishment.

The pizza was exceptional—light, airy, and not greasy, with a flavorful sauce. We also ordered the chicken bacon ranch salad and were further delighted by the homemade ranch dressing.

If you are searching for a restaurant that does it right, look no further. Even with a large pizza chain nearby, this local gem shines.

Star for poor communication. After calling different times and getting a generic voicemail I decided to drive in anyways to support something local and new for us. NY appearance it looks to be closed for business.
Yeah their artwork is gone now that i look at it.

Cold crust is too heavy.

We were on the hunt for good pizza in the Western Burbs and are so happy to have found Barone’s! The crust is thin and crunchy, and the sausage and sauce were equally as delicious!

3.75/5. Unfortunately I can't give partial stars otherwise I would. The owner is absolutely fantastic to deal with as well as all of his staff. The pizza is alright for Chicago and could be better with a more fresh tasting and crispy crust as well as about 15% more cheese on the pizza in total. Otherwise not a bad spot for a bite to eat or even a family pizza night. I've been coming here for over 15 years and it's been the same reliable pizza the entire time. Consistency is above and beyond so you know you're going to get the same thing every time. The only complaint about the place is that their giant mozzarella sticks don't really look, act, or taste like regular mozza sticks. Personally, I find them to be way way way too much cheese to bread ratio ( think of a stick of butter size coated in brad crumbs) and as well as the iconic greasey cheesy taste of a classic fried mozzarella stick just isn't there. For this to be 5/5, I would change the crust to be a more rich, fresh, cruncher style crust, add just a bit more cheese, and dump the brat size mozzarella sticks and go to a more traditional style. Otherwise their delivery, price, and staff are absolutely 10/10
