I couldve buried that in that amazing BBQ sauce but again, there was barely any meat. Disappointed to say the least. Ive had better within a 10 minute drive, which doesnt feel very award winning.
Update: cant forget about that singular tortilla with some cinnamon or whatever that they sell for $5. Ridiculous.

Greatest bbq joint in the Chicagoland area. I even have poker buddies in the far south suburbs no where near Brookfield who wear Beach Ave merch ans know where to go for the best brisket and BBQ in Illinois.

If one day you discover you have a craving for authentic barbeque, well wow!…this is the place. We had the 1/2 brisket, the pulled pork sandwich, mac and cheese and pit beans. All were unbeatable! The portions are very large, and the sandwich is overstuffed, so if you think the prices are a little high, you’re getting a large portion of whatever you order! My only “eh” comment is the flimsy napkins, and plastic cutlery. Lots of waste here with paper products. And it’d be great to have a pleasant outdoor space to eat in; other than next to the road. Actually that’d be ok if it were protected from the road by bushes or trees, fake or real! The staff were ultra friendly and helpful and made you feel as if you were an old friend popping by for a great meal!

Disappointed after all the rave reviews. I ordered the nachos with brisket. The brisket was AMAZING!!! But the nachos were worse than what you get at the ballpark. The chips were stale and salty, the queso was on par with easy-cheese. The beans were very sweet, hinting that they were rinsed baked beans. The jalapenos were fresh and perfect. What the meal lacked in quality they made up in quantity, but for the price I was really more interested in quality. Stick to the meat when ordering, stay far away from the nachos.

Excellent BBQ! I can honestly say that the BBQ pork was the best that I ever had. It was moist and juicy to the point that I didn't need sauce. It already had great flavor. The mac n cheese was awesome. The kids loved it. Solid brisket. Would definitely come back again and again.

I am originally from St Louis, I was in the mood for some barbeque. Beach Ave BBQ didn't fail. The ribs were beyond excellent. The flavor and seasonings are unmatched. let me also mention how good the barbecue sauce was. I took a couple sides of it home with me. Service was great and the restaurant was clean and bright. Definitely will visit again when in the area. Get these guys an award because it was great!!!!!
