Sebastian's Ale and Whiskey House Brookfield

Seated during a busy evening, took a bout a half hour before water was even brought out to us. Very frustrating experience. When my beer finally did make it out, it was warm. I get there's not a lot.of options in brookfield, but do better.

Best burger I’ve had in a LONG time

Food was very good. Our server was good. Great selection of adult beverages. Great look for a sports type bar. Only thing I can ding them on is how long it took to get food. I would visit again if I'm in the area. I do recommend you give it a try.

The only reason I give this place stars because the server was genuinely nice.Party of 10 and majority of them was disappointed with their food. We sent back two dishes that were cold and didn’t taste like real food. We then were met by the restaurant owner and chef and was told he will not serve us any longer and that we have terrible taste buds I truly believe we were treated terribly because we are a black family. You have to no taste buds or drunk to enjoy it. He was also very aggressive with my teenage daughter because she didn’t like the bacon on her nachos.

The menu has a lot of options. I also like the atmosphere; it's casual and friendly. I had the chopped salad and my hopes weren't high, but it exceeded my expectations. They also have a big drink menu and overall don't play games with prices (unlike another establishment nearby). Lots of TVs, so you can relax and have an enjoyable, unpretentious time. I will definitely go back, and Brookfield is now one of my favorite suburbs. You can get there via Metra in just half an hour from downtown Chicago, walk to this restaurant, then walk around this charming town. The architecture isn't cookie-cutter, not filled with housing developments nor strip malls. And the people seem really friendly.

One of the best local bars I've ever been to. They have an insane on tap and whiskey selection. The food is great. The Chicken wings are breaded in a house made batter. I cannot recommend this place enough! And they are kid friendly!

Great plans, when we stopped by they had a deal on burgers. All of our good was made to order. We enjoyed the coconut shrimp, it was amazing! I could have had that as a meal if more shrimp were on the plate. Very surprised they had a full vegan menu with many options to choose from.
