Do not miss out on this little gem of a restaurant! Our server, whom I strongly suspect is the owner or general manager, gave us great service while only speaking in Serbian. The atmosphere of this small business is unique and memorable, and the service was top notch! The cheese spread trio is served with the best fresh pita I have ever tried, and the mushroom dish should not be missed as well. The Serbian salad goes well with the two aforementioned dishes, do remember to dress it yourself with the provided oil, vinegar, and salt at the table. We ordered the grilled meat platter for one, which comes with french fries and a small cabbage relish. This platter is a variety of sausages, chops, and cutlets that are MASTERFULLY broiled to perfection. All of the food we tried at Dunav was prepared excellently and presented well. Restaurants like this really make a neighborhood a unique place to visit and I am really happy to have had the chance to enjoy Serbian hospitality from some truly great restaurantuers. I look forward to returning again soon!

The food was alright, but nothing wow. The place is kind of very old and not done any remodeling lately. Floor was very dirty. The prices are significant high for the area and the atmosphere. A single coca cola can was $5 (not even a bottle). Kids can juice $5.50 For suburbs places cost for the dishes and drinks are insane high.

Food was good BUT prices online not updated so be ready to pay almost double then what you see online, 2nd can of coke cola will cost you $5, 2 lepinja was $8 we only needed 1 why 2? Place is nothing special looks outdated. Long story short this place use to be very affordable now it's very expensive as if I am going to Skadarlija. They need to update prices online and update the interior according to pricing.

Before placing an order make sure you ask about the prices. I placed an order based on their online menu. When I arrived to pick up the food the price was double. And the waitress stated that it was my fault for not asking if the price was correct! The waitress then proceeded to tell me that their online menu is not updated. $30 seems a bit steep for a plate of tilapia and vegetables.
