The beer selection is great, they have a lot of options including non-alcoholic drinks. Theres plenty of seating especially with the garages open in the summer, the staff is friendly and knowledgeable. The only downside to the space is that it’s very loud. Definitely needs some sort of sound absorbing materials in the ceiling or corners of the place where the garage doors are. Even with a smaller amount of people in the space it’s very loud in that area. 4/5 because the beer and staff 🖖🏻

I'm old enough to remember when drinking establishments were places where people went to get away from kids, but helicopter parents and proprietors with questionable business practices have ruined most of them. Sadly, this is another one. Imperial Oak's beers are pretty good (saving this place from a one-star rating), but the overly child-inclusive atmosphere is terrible. Also, there's a credit card service charge, and the food truck that was supposed to be there never showed up on the night that my friends and I went to this place. I won't be going back.

We just threw a surprise birthday party at the Brookfield location, and I reserved the room almost a year in advance. Jim was AMAZING to communicate with; he was always quick to respond to my emails, provided ideas, helped problem solve, and provided so much guidance and clarity. The night of the party, the bartenders were great! They sure had a lot to keep up with and they did it with ease. The venue allowed us to bring in food from our caterers, and encouraged us to support small, local businesses for our catering needs.
We have been long time patrons of Imperial Oak, but will certainly be hosting events there again, as the experience was wonderful.

We recently attended an event at Imperial Oak Brewing, and it turned out to be one of the most enjoyable family outings we’ve had in a while. The event was centered around an ugly sweater party and a white elephant gift exchange, and it couldn’t have been more fun! From the moment we arrived, the festive atmosphere was infectious. Everyone was in the holiday spirit, and the brewery had done an amazing job of creating a space that felt both cozy and celebratory.
What truly impressed us was how inclusive and family-friendly the experience was. We brought along our one-year-old baby, which sometimes makes us hesitant to attend certain events, but Imperial Oak Brewing proved to be the perfect venue. The staff was incredibly kind and accommodating, making sure we felt comfortable the entire time. The seating arrangements and overall setup allowed us to relax and enjoy ourselves while keeping an eye on our little one.
The beer selection was, of course, phenomenal. They have a great variety of options that cater to all tastes, from craft beer enthusiasts to those who are just looking for something light and refreshing. Even though the focus was on the event, it was clear that the quality of their brews remains a top priority. The flavors were spot-on, and we loved being able to try something new.
The ugly sweater contest brought out so much creativity from everyone, and the white elephant gift exchange was full of laughs and surprises. It was heartwarming to see how the brewery brought people together—families, friends, and even strangers sharing moments of joy. It’s rare to find a place that balances being fun for adults while also making families feel welcome, and Imperial Oak Brewing has absolutely mastered it.
Overall, this was a memorable experience for our family. It’s not often that you find a brewery where you can enjoy amazing beer, participate in unique events, and feel completely at ease bringing a young child. Imperial Oak Brewing has created a space that’s more than just a brewery—it’s a community hub where people can connect, celebrate, and make lasting memories. The bartender threw a huge tantrum when I tried to return a poorly-made cocktail on a several $$$ tab. Yes, I know it's a brewery but I've had good cocktails here in the past. The extreme response to a common customer service situation seemed like a combination of toxic masculinity and hostile work environment. When I tried to talk to the bartender in good faith, he yelled about having a bad day, refused to make eye contact with me and angrily started bussing tables rather than calmly talk through what his problem was. I paid for the drink, got yelled at for the privilege and the manager seemed to think nothing of the situation. I won't be going back.
