Great atmosphere , The bouncer was very welcoming which made an impact. Drink prices were great. We came with a party of apx 15 people and they easily accommodated us. A potential fight was controlled extremely well by the staff (we were not involved but impressed with how everyone's safety was prioritized) Definitely recommend. Phil's is a terrific neighborhood bar! Not only is the staff friendly, they have a lot of fun entertainment such as darts, games, slots, touch tunes music, multiple tv's, they have some of the best tacos, fresh made chips and salsa and delicious wings! Great any time of day, I've gone for lunch, drinks after work or late night tacos.
Stopped in to grab a drink and some dinner. Ordered the tacos based on what we had been told by others, and we were not disappointed! The tortillas were soft corn, but the outer one was fried a bit, so it was slightly crispy and delicious. The meat (steak) was well seasoned and a bit of cheese melted at the bottom rounded it out.
