I ordered the platter for 4 ($65) and asked if they could replace the pork with something else since I don’t eat it. Unfortunately, they said there was no option to substitute and told me I had to take it as it is or not at all. I even asked if they could just give me more of another meat instead, but they refused. Now I’m stuck with food I can’t eat, which feels like such a waste because someone else could’ve enjoyed it.
I came all the way from Kentucky and was really looking forward to experiencing some Balkan food, but this left me very disappointed. For a restaurant that represents our culture, I expected at least a little flexibility and understanding for customers’ needs. On top of that chicken was missing. So disappointed! Would never in my life come back.. My expectations were high and I was not happy at all.

Authentic Balkan Serbian cuisine,food was so tasty.Great atmosphere,service wasn’t bad girl that served us was really nice,polite and friendly just she was easy to forget order. We ordered Shopska salad twice and still at the end she didn’t bring it then she tried to charge us for it (maybe she was still on training). No matter what food is so yummy,ambience is nice and service was good I would come to Skadarliya again.

The mixed grilled plate offered a great variety of choice. The tomato and cucumber salad was very fresh and light. My favorite were the baked beans offered as a daily special. The sweetness of the slow cooked onions melded greatly with the tomato based sauce. I look forward to visiting again.

Skadarliya is the new spot for great Pizza! 🍕 Their pizzas are always delicious – perfectly baked with lots of flavor. The pizza rolls are super tasty and the pizza sandwich is something you don’t find everywhere (and it’s really good!).
They also make a really good pastrmajlija, which is a nice bonus if you’re looking to try something a little different. Everything here is made with care, and it shows.
Definitely a place worth coming back to again and again! 🙌

The pizza this restaurant makes puts majority of “famous Chicago pizza” places to shame. If you are fan of a excellent European style pizza without 5lbs of marinara sauce, this is the place for you. Regular style, pizza wrap or a pizza sandwich and you will want more! Pure awesomeness. Pizza score: 11 stars!

Try the PLATTER! Absolutely delicious!!!!
We tried the Serbian platter for $35 it came with a ton of serbian meat which was savory and delicious. It was served with raw onions and a milky cream spread which went so well with the bread and cuts of meat. It came with a fresh loaf of bread right out of the oven. Crunchy exterior and soft interior.
We also ordered the grilled veggies $7 which were grilled to perfection and went well with the meat platter. We also tried their Serbian coffee for $4.
The total was $51 which was absolutely worth it!!! Everything was tasty and fresh and great portions!
The only reason I didn't give five stars was because they ran out of pork neck which was part of the Serbian platter and we were looking forward to trying it. They did give us a different type of meat but I wish they would have let us know in advance before placing the order in the kitchen.
The venue itself is beautiful, they have a large dining space and an indoor and outdoor patio and indoor bar. Beautiful. The server did a great job of explaining the menu since it was our first time eating there and trying this cuisine.
Definitely would return if in the area! The galloping ghost, largest arcade in the world, is located a few feet away. So cool! Plenty of parking.

Great. 4 guy friends that get together for dinner a handful of times/year went to Skadarliya for Serbian fare. It did not disappoint...Meat was seasoned, juicy, perfectly grilled. We cleaned up the mixed and bohemian platters and washed down with Serbian beer. Server was new but super attentive and sweet. We will be back - highly recommend!

Our friends brought us here as it is their go to for something that tastes like the food they grew up with in Macedonia. The food was great. I like all kinds of meats and this place did not disappoint. Plenty of meat options and the portions were HUGE. The price point was very reasonable and you definately get a lot of food. I would highly reccomend to anyone who wants to try balkan food or anyone with a big appetite. I have gone back several times and it is now one of my favorites when in this area.
