The atmosphere is cute for the Holidays, service is good, but like most places the prices have gone up. We both had breakfast for dinner, omelettes w/ pancakes (instead of toast) $38 for 2 is more than it used to be. But I take 1/2 of my omelette home for the next day.

I have been going here for years.
The food is very delicious. I have ordered multiple things. And each time, it's always perfect.
Especially when I walk in and I see junior I love that guy. He's respectful.
And he loves greeting people at the door.
The food here is amazing

For food at 12:00am, this place had the most delectable salad in the entire world. I had the village salad. It came with potato salad that had a vinegary or maybe horseradish flavor? It was good though, and it might be a Chicago thing since I’m not from here.
The clam chowder was very floury. I think it has a roux base, and I can respect that, but I also think it could’ve used salt, pepper, and paprika to buff it up. The roux was the main flavor instead of anything else.
I can’t even be a little mad at it though. For 14 dollars I recieved a huge salad, two rolls, potato salad, AND A HUGE CUP OF SOUP. You can’t get it like that where I’m from.

My second time here. Top quality diner food. They are not just serving slop like most other diners these days. Great food, great staff, and open 24 hours. I had the skiers steak my first time and country fried steak and eggs with a navy bean soup. Everything was fantastic!

I’ve come here twice so far and both times were a great experience. They really make sure you are well fed and taken care of, ensuring a great price to portion ratio. Really like their grilled liver and rice here! Patty melt is pretty good but could use a bit of salt and pepper, which is easily added with the shakers at the table. The sides are delicious and very filling. Def recommend, especially for a late night dinner. Quick, reliable, and friendly.

Always a great meal. It's more like eating at home. Best food around. Big portions. Everything I've had was delicious. The Ruben has more meat than anywhere else. We eat there all the time.

Town staple and the food is good plus open late-late. Helpful when me and my friends are up late from studying and get hungry.
