Perfect local dive & grill. Daily specials are worth the week long wait. Here is a menu from June of 2025. Stop by sometime! Great place for a Chicago traveler headed back to his 217 roots. I’ll definitely be back. Family place with grandma cooking, kids keeping busy, & nice folk belly up. Worth the 4 minutes off 57.
If you want some comfort food that hits the soul just right come here. The people are so nice. The food is absolutely delicious, and they have a nice variety of drinks. If you go in when Teri is cooking you are sure to leave satisfied. These people know what they're doing. If you go in on Wednesday they make some of the best country fried steak and mashed potatoes I have ever eaten. 10/10 would most definitely recommend!
Nice small town bar bar with great food and friendly service. The have daily food specials as well as your traditional bar food. The hand dipped onion rings are one of my favorites.
