“Samarkand Café is a charming, lantern-lit slice of Central Asia that easily earns a very strong four stars. The plov is deeply satisfying—fragrant rice, meltingly tender lamb, and those sweet raisins that make every forkful addictive—while the grilled kebabs deliver proper charcoal punch and the hand-pulled laghman noodles have exactly the right springy bite. Manti are plump and comforting, the tea ritual is lovely, and the warmly hospitable service makes you feel like a welcomed guest rather than a customer. It’s only held back from a full five by occasional inconsistency (one visit the meat was perfection, another slightly dry) and a dessert selection that feels a touch limited. Still, for authentic Uzbek soul food in an atmosphere that glows with genuine Central Asian spirit, Samarkand remains an absolute delight well worth repeat visits.”

“We ordered the Knockout and a rice bowl for takeout, but the order got a little late, so we ended up breaking our fast at the restaurant. My wife really loved the Knockout. The rice bowl was a bit spicy for me, but still tasted good, the guy in the specs was doing everything at once, taking orders, packing, and answering calls and he was moving fast, so no complaints about the service. Overall, good food and a good experience.”

“Absolutely love this restaurant. We had brought a tray of lasagna to a party years ago and had nothing but rave reviews. We moved down to FL 7 years ago so it’s been awhile since we have been able to eat here. We bought another tray of lasagna this weekend for a party. Let me tell you…it was so delicious! We are still hearing people rave about it and hope it brings new customers your way. Your GF ravioli was awesome as well. Great food, wonderful customer service, cute restaurant. Now we just need a location opened in SWFL! We will be back and we will always highly recommend this place. Thank you!”

Under the new ownership, this already unbelievable establishment has only gotten better. The fact that the former owner Bill is still cooking at night adds to its appeal. I couldn't recommend this restaurant more highly - it serves the best gyros in all of Chicagoland.”

“Excellent Thai food. We had the Moo Ping as an appetizer. The pork was so tender and the sauce was delightfully sweet. We had the Drunken Noodles with chicken and Holy Chili with chicken. Both were delicious and the portions were just right. We dined in and there were sadly only a few tables for a Saturday night but it seemed like a lot of take out orders. The service was fast. We will definitely dine in or take out from here again.”

“Fuji Thai is the best restaurant in the area! I worked here for 4 years when I was younger and Ive been back as a customer every time I’m in town for the past 5 years. I can say from first hand experience, everything is clean and sanitary. The staff was always great to work with. For a first job, I couldn’t have asked for more. And Mona and her family (owners) are amazing! The food is incredible. Almost everything on the menu is made fresh and from scratch. Favorites: Tom kha soup Panang curry Double shrimp lover”

“Simple mexican restaurant that has really good tacos. Bought their taco tray for a party and everyone loved the steak tacos and chicken tacos. They have really great sauces to go with the tacos. I've also eaten in the restaurant a few times and it has always been consistent service and quality of food.”

“This location is AWESOME! Seriously was the best Wendy's I've ever been to. The food was prepared perfectly; I felt like I was actually eating the same Single with fries right out of a TV commercial or other advertisement. The taste was spot-on and, no hyperbole at all, was simply the best experience I've ever had at a Wendy's, hands down. The restaurant was spotless, the staff were all well trained and knowledgeable about their different roles, and I don't think I've ever had such a great experience at not just a Wendy's but at any fast food restaurant, period. I will DEFINITELY be making the trip to come back, even though it's about 18 miles each way for me from my house it's worth it. You should stop by and give them your business if you're in the area - or not. As I said, it's worth the trip for a restaurant that's clean and welcoming, a friendly staff who are experienced and enjoy what they do, and for the food which will be perfect in every regard. A definite two thumbs up in my book 👍👍 and you can thank me later!”

“My experience was both positive and negative. The food was pricey but well worth it since you can get 2 or 3 meals out of it. My wife's sesame chicken had an abundance or sweet and sour sauce. Too much for her taste. My shrimp eggs foo young was great along with the egg rolls. My pickup experience was terrible. The sign says "ring the bell"to notify them you're there. After 3 rings and 5 minutes with no response I called them to let them know I was there. They finally came out, no apology just pushed the order thru the plastic and sign the receipt. Not even a thank you. I trust this rudeness was just the result of a bad day and not par for the course.”
