Dec 1, 2025 just HORRIBLE I shopped here every week when lived in Buffalo Groves long time ago. It used to be the greatest Ukrainian deli store in the area. Not anymore ! I was passing the Northern suburbs, and took a detour to shop here. What a mistake I’ve made. It’s very sad how bad it looks now. They hit the rock bottom ! Poor selection of goods, some food (at the deli) looked very unappetizing and even old. I did not wanna take any chances and bought only halva and a container of sauerkraut. Halva was OK, but the sauerkraut was really bad, I realized it immediately after opening the container (at home) greysh color and funny taste. $4,99 per lbs - paid almost $9 and to throw it away

Excellent food from the pork kebabs to the Greek potatoes to the crab stuffed salmon, to the desserts I can't remember the name of. Our deli server was very pleasant. So many items to pick from from the store section as well but the deli is just amazing!

I have passed by many times and finally decided to stop in. It’s a bustling store with a variety of food on shelves and in the deli section itself. Hard to choose! Don’t be intimidated if you aren’t a Russian speaker. Just ask what is what and try something new. It can be a delicious food adventure! I really liked the mushroom, and the spinach, long tube shaped pastry, but it all looked tasty. Happy to support a small business like this.
