They have the best russian cuisine in the northwest suburbs with an elegant indoors. The food is like eating grandmas cooking and brings a great nostalgic feeling. The Napoleon cake is the best.

Great service and food! So glad my mom and I popped in to this Russian Mediterranean fusion place We had the calamari appetizer and it was perfect. Not too much breading not too oily. Yumm! We also ordered the chicken Lula kabob and first of all the portions was huge! Def left with leftovers. The meat was light and perfectly seasoned and it came with the most delish fried potatoes and dill. Also they brought the most delish hummus and pita while we waited. Dessert was the strudel and napolean cake. Sooo good. Super great deal for a super delish lunch. We will def be back.
This place is my favorite. I go to a lot of restaurants but to this one I go the most. The stuff is very cordial and the food they cook is so flavorful. I never decline to have a decent dinner in this place. Highly recommended.

I'm new to Bait Cafe, but after eating there twice recently, I'm ready to make it part of my regular rotation. The first time, this past August, a friend and I ordered falafel entrees and split a potato appetizer. Everything was perfectly seasoned and the portions were very generous (the huge platter of potatoes could have been our meal). We both brought leftovers home. Today, we returned to check out the lunch specials. The specials are $12 (which we didn't know until the check came -- no prices were on the menu). They include a choice of soup or salad, as well as an entree with a choice of sides. I ordered the Greek salad, and it was delicious! For my entree, I selected the shawarma chicken and potatoes (which I already knew wouldn't disappoint), while my friend ordered the basa fish and potatoes. Both were really good, and again we both had leftovers. We were also served complementary pitas and hummus while we waited (not very long) for our meals. Our server was friendly and the food was delicious and plentiful for the price. I will definitely return!

Now this place is something special...call and see if they are able to take you and your party first...if so, it is really outstanding Mediterranean cuisine! Falafel, seabass, shawarma. Found this place and just came for the second time. Going through the menu and haven't had a dish that wasn't great!
