The food is a great the service is very attentive. I regularly attend for lunch and the food is always fresh and absolutely delicious. You will not leave there hungry and their flavoring and spices are incredibly tasty. This has turned into a weekly staple for me and always coming back

Food and side dishes were delicious! My parents and I ordered seasoned galbi and the meat was so soft and tender! The deongjangjigae was included with the meal and I devoured that because it was so yummy. The service here was the best part, they were so nice and made sure our side dishes were always full. The interior is also very clean. I did see a review talking about how they were charged extra for rice and were angry about it. I want to make it clear that side dishes are free but if you order meat THEN it comes with rice for free. After that, an extra bowl of rice is $2 (as said in the menu hello??) Rice is also not considered a side dish anyway! I'd highly recommend going here and I will come back.

Very impressed with the food. Hard to find quality Korean BBQ without driving 20-30mins.

Food and service were excellent! We loved all the ban Chan and they were more than happy to not only refill it but gave us extra to take home. The owner stopped by the table and chatted for a bit, she's very nice. Definitely a go to if you're craving Korean bbq!

Recently, I happily went out to eat with my family for the first time in a while, but a piece of plastic came out of the half-eaten food. It must have already melted during cooking.. I don't think I'll ever find it again.

Not my first BBQ.Meat quality was good and but was very disappointed with side dishes. Mostly onions in different variations. Also, for a new place with new equipment, came home smelling like fried meat. Exhaust system is not the best. Something else to know, waiters will not come to you unless you press a button that no one told us about. If you expect someone to refill anything don’t.

New galbi house in the suburbs! Super excited to have a high quality Korean bbq restaurant so close to home. Yes the service was great. But what I really want to talk about is the quality of food. From the raw beef appetizer (yukhae) to the galbi ribeye. Just look at that marbling in my photos. Such high quality of beef here. You're definitely paying for quality food here. Everything was seasoned well and absolutely delicious! We also got the seafood pahjun appetizer, the spicy fish dish with radish (galchi jorim) (not pictured), and the cold noodle bowl (nangmyun). I will say although we came here for the bbq I was absolutely blown away by the spicy fish dish (galchi jorim). I wish I got a picture of it. It's a huge portion to share with multiple people. Super flavorful and the fish was just juicy and tender. It was so good. I definitely plan to come back just to order this again. From start to finish the service was amazing. There is a call button at the table that you can press if there's anything you need. A server will be at your table right away. For our party of 6 adults and 2 toddlers, tip was already included in our bill at the end of the meal. The server did mention this when handing us the bill. I appreciated that they let us know. I truly enjoyed every dish we ordered and so glad to have this new restaurant in the suburbs. We'll definitely be back!!

This place had decent customer service. The food was decent. My group and I, (7 people), asked if sides were free, and our server said Yes. When each one of our rice bowls was finished, the server was if we wanted more rice. We said yes, only because "sides were free". At the end, we were charged $2 for each rice bowl, and it was a complete surprise. We should have been told that rice was extra. The portion of rice for each person is extremely small as well, which is why we ordered more. However, the worse part of this was at the end. When we asked for our check, our server came by and said "I charged tip for you guys already". Like hello?? And the reason for this was because "parties of 6 or more have gratuity included." We wouldn't have even been upset if we were told this beforehand, and along with the extra being charged for the rice, it was extremely annoying. Don't eat here. The meat quality wasn't great, and it's extremely expensive for the price. The servers also won't tell you hidden costs apparently. Our total bill was $140 for everything we ordered, but we somehow ended up paying $220 with the "included gratuity" we were completely unaware of, and to make it worse, they even had an option for an extra tip on our receipts when we went to pay.Never coming back.

As soon as I walked in the staff greeted us with such kindness and the interior is amazing it’s modern with a hint of retro with the artwork wrapping around the inside and the food is amazing I honestly recommend the brisket and chicken because we ate 5 orders ?

Ordered the Beef Tartare and Mountain bulgogi. Beef Tartare was half frozen so had to wait 10 min before we could even taste the meat. Bulgogi was ok but nothing very special. Service was decent and plating deco was ok. Not sure if I would pay this much for the food quality. Could be that we were a bit early for dinner at around 5 pm but food quality just doesn’t do it for me.

So much overpriced. The food is okay, but there are tons of places in northern IL that have similar food with much affordable prices. Not worth it.

Great spot with good quality cuts of meat. The side dishes are fresh and tasty. Lots of Korean flavours to enjoy with a good variety to choose from. We chose a few cuts of beef and the seafood pancake. Would definitely try the other options as well as the soups and noodles. Plenty of parking and a good size dining area with spaced out tables.
