Wow! What a cafe! The food was really fantastic! I had Triple Chocolate Chip pancakes once, and another time a Churro French Toast! The Churro French toast was a bit high in sugar though. I don’t know the actual amount, but when something fried in cinnamon sugar and topped with a huge scoop of vanilla ice cream can’t exactly be low sugar. I did really enjoy the food, no matter the sugar.

Ordered Chicken wrap that came with fries and soup. Wrap was very bland, chicken soup had a lemon flavor and fries were coated and terrible. Very greasy. Probably had MSG in the food. About 1/2 hour later I had to find a washroom pretty fast. Wouldn't go back here anytime soon.

So happy the Garden Berry Cafe remains open. This is a review of the location on 22 in Buffalo Grove. Outdoor tables are very far apart and under the eaves of the building so basically rain proof. The restaurant serves coffee/tea etc. in disposable cups with lids and provides utensils and napkins in pre-packaged packets. I’ve eaten breakfast here about 4 times and lunch twice. All food has been good. Omelettes are huge, fluffy and delicious. Turkey burger for lunch was thin but good huge menu and great service.

Why is this location's food, service & management so bad & the other location on old 45 soooo much better? I wanted to be fair so tried both locations during the pandemic & ate outside. At BG the the waitress was rude when i asked for ice with my coke & left us sitting there for 15 minutes to go get it. i ordered the same skillet & asked for vegetables to be cooked out...she roles her eyes & says i cant control that order! Ordered same food today at old 45 & cooked to perfection! I was asked 3 times if i needed anything else & the atmosphere was awesome!

We started ordering from here for delivery as soon as they opened and we love everything on the menu! Staff is always friendly and professional! Food is always hot and delicious! We look forward to the once a week we get delivery from garden berry!!! We have also gone for lunch and eaten on the patio once and they were wonderful for that as well!

The new menu has many options, but the layout and decor are exactly the same -- which makes for a very noisy restaurant. There are many similar restaurants within easy driving distance so this one will have to up its game to compete.
