This is specific to the Buffalo Grove, IL location. I have been going to a variety of Giordano's for over 30 years. Yesterday, I came in with a couple of guys who wanted to take advantage of the $2 beers. When we entered we were told there were no servers and we had to order at the counter. No big deal, I get that on a Thursday, it is hard to get servers at a pizza place. I open up the menu to see what kind of soft drink they had and it stated we proudly server Pepsi products and there are unlimited refills on drinks. I go to the counter as directed and order food with a Diet Pepsi. The person working the counter hands me a bottle. I ask for a glass of ice which he was not happy about. I pay and tip. When our food comes out, I ask for another Diet Pepsi and another bottle is brought to me. My friends did not pay in advance as they were getting beers and kept their bill open. When they went to pay, the person working informed them I had to pay for my second Diet Pepsi. I stated the menu said free refills on all soft drinks. He responded by saying that is for fountain and we don't have fountain. I stated that I should have been told that. He said there is nothing he can do that "corporate" does the menu. So, I pay for my "additional" Diet Pepsi at $3.65 each. This is ridiculous. The menu said refills. At no point was I told that I would be charged. By the way, a soft drink should never cost more than a beer. That is just bad policy. In the frustration, I forgot my car keys on the table. When I figured it out, I went back and it was closed. No big deal. I came back today to get my keys. A different "manager" was there. I stated I had left my keys on the table the night before and wanted to get them. His response was, "I wasn't working last night." I asked if anyone found might have found them. His response was, "Well did you call and tell someone." I informed him that by the time I figured out I didn't have my keys, the restaurant had closed. He asked me what they looked like and I described them. So, he opens up the drawer that he had been standing in front of the entire time we had this conversation and my keys are right there. He takes them outs and throws them at me.Seriously, this entire experience was unacceptable. I don't think I will ever go back to that location as the people were just rude and it makes me wonder if Giordano's as a corporation no longer cares how its franchises are run.

My boyfriend and I usually go to Lou Malnatis for pizza, but decided to give this place a try. Well let’s just say it was a HUGH DISAPPOINTMENT and we regretted coming here!!?. When we sat down at a booth the waiter told us we could come to the front whenever we were ready to order. Which I didn’t understand bc this place was dead at the time when we got there. Then when I ordered at the front we were given 2 Pepsi bottles instead of your usual fountain drink w/ ice.. I kid you not but we ended up waiting almost 35mins for our appetizer which the lady saw we hadn’t gotten yet and even asked us if we got it yet. Which we replied no we haven’t. The guy brings the appetizer out , but brings it to the wrong table ??♀️. Pizza wasn’t all the great either. Overall we”ll probably never go back ??♀️.

Incompetent service. Guy taking order had an attitude from the beginning, claimed Mt Prospect was too far to deliver from Buffalo Grove. Really unnecessary, sticking to Lou's down the street.

I can’t go to Chicago without eating at Giordano’s, any location. This particular one in Deerfield is all order at the counter first rather than having wait staff, but the staff at the counter did a great job helping keep us supplied with drinks as we were a group of 16. The pizza never disappoints.

We have friends over tonight so we ordered a couple of pizzas. The delivery was first promised in 35-45 minutes when we started ordering, by the time we were ready to click "order" it went to 45-55 minutes, then right after we clicked "order" it went up to about 1:05. As a result (and after a couple of calls to the place, which at some point they just weren't picking up the phone), we've got our order just a few minutes short of 2 hours. The pizzas were not cold but definitely not freshly from the oven, plus the dough was undercooked in a few spots. And the parmesan cheese and red pepper were missing.Needless to say, we ended up embarrassed and not very happy with the outcome. So next time will feel like ordering a pizza, will have to check out the competition. Maybe they won't promise something they can't deliver.

Messed up our delivery. They put pepperoni on a pizza that was supposed to have pineapple. Ruined a 20$ pizza. Charging 3.50$ for a little bottle of soda is highway robbery I thought it was going to be a 2 liter.

We went for dinner & had some excellent pizza! We both enjoyed the pizza very much. They were out of the beer we wanted & we ordered some drinks. The drinks were way more expensive than we expected.
