Prices are pretty great compared to most asian/japanese places around. Service was also good. If I had come and just gotten the cold soba, it would have been a five star experience. However, I also ordered the golden shrimp appetizer, which was extremely disappointing. They gave three extremely skinny pieces of shrimp with the brown veins still in it. They were probably about as wide as a small pencil and were drowning in golden sauce. It was basically impossible to eat since it was 95% golden sauce with three sad tiny pieces of shrimp. My partner ordered the chicken katsu meal. The grilled vegetables were great, but my partner had really bad food poisoning after eating the chicken and was sick the entire next day. Really sad since I really wanted to like this place but I probably will not be back. Cold soba was very good though, so maybe just avoiding the meats is a good recommendation for this place. Lastly, it is just odd that their entire place has tons of beer posters and ads and when i asked what beers they had they said they dont serve alcohol… which is fine but a bit misleading considering there were three huge Sapporo posters in the front window.

I've been to Japan twice. I won't waste your time. Give them your money. I've spent plenty of time eating sushi and being disappointed. This was not that. The soba was superb and the sushi brought me back to Osaka. The prices are fair for the quality. Enjoy!

Small portion sizes for a high cost. Ordered a platter to go for two which cost around $50, and the size of the portions could barely feed one person.Went to this restaurant based on recent reviews which is misleading since they’re all positive, perhaps my experience is not a normal one. Regardless, there are plenty of other sushi places around which give you much more and similar quality for the same price.Changing my review to 1 star after trying the food. It’s been approximately 10 mins since we picked up the food and disappointed in the quality of it - the rice is ice cold like it’s been just refrigerated. Also, I’d like to emphasize how petite and tiny the sushi pieces are.

This is my favorite sushi place to exist. While I have never been to Japan to have 100% authentic Japanese sushi, I can't imagine this place being too different. I have never had a bad meal here. The restaurant is so cute and small. Their menu has so many good options, but this sushi is truly outstanding. Some rolls I really love are the Kani roll (crab), spicy scallop, rainbow roll, eel/avo/cucumber, and more. The thing I love most is their tuna and salmon nigiri. It is the absolute best nigiri I have ever had. They taste so fresh and are made with the perfect small amount of rice underneath. My boyfriend and I always like to end with a piece of the tamago nigiri too. They also make homemade ramen here and it is delicious!!! If you are in search of a new sushi place please go try Hanabi! I promise you will not regret it!
