This place has excellent food and awesome customer service. They never disappointed me with my order regular customer for the last five years.

I ordered a whole chicken and this was grilled to a perfection and sauce was absolutely amazing. Definitely would be back and would love to try more items on the menu.

The food is good but not as high quality consistently as a competitor Nando's Peri Peri. The Libertyville location (closed), was great and genuinely valued the customer. Service is HORRIBLE at the Buffalo Grove location.
The Buffalo Grove staff and ownership is thoroughly apathetic. My most recent visit was for takeout on a Monday which stated 16 minute estimated time to pickup, After not receiving any update after 20 minutes, I went in and was told they were still working on it. Only 1 dine in customer and no one picking up with 4 employees standing around doing NOTHING (one even asking if they could go home because it was slow). 38 minutes after ordering, it was done. When I complained they just looked at me confused.
Two other times they omitted items from our orders and have always been slow.
Again, would recommend other locations but would avoid the one in Buffalo Grove as they do not care.

the couple that served my family are extremely sweet. you can tell they are very caring towards their customers! they’re very busy — but thats because the food is so great! we took a chance on a new area we aren’t familiar with, and im glad we chose here. stop by here for flavorful spices not only for meat eaters but also vegetarians too! thank you for your welcoming environment

We went to this place for later dinner after our kids graduation party along with our friends and family around 20+ people. The staff at Peri Peri was so helpful and guiding us based on our food choice. I have two vegetarian families they really love the food. We tried chicken tenders with spicy hot oh what a taste. Falafel Rice was so yummy and they do have boba drink with south Asian flavor like Malai Kofta boba. It was delicious. I recommend this place and they open up to 12 midnight.

RIP-OFF Alert - $18.75 for two legs of chicken, what a joke!
Everything was good, only I wanted to suggest that they should change the Rice recipe, as there Rice doesn't go with chicken

After my last experience at this place, I am writing this review and had to delete the nice one I had written before. I feel like this place doesn’t care about what their customers feel like. We were so excited to come back to this place because the food is amazing, and somehow didn’t notice “Please use other door” on one of them and ended up accidentally opening and coming in through it, we get yelled at as if we are little kids by a woman behind the stand where you order the food. Now imagine how loud and embarrassing it was because the door is pretty far from that stand she was standing at. She then proceeds to command us to lock it after yelling at us. How is that your customers responsibility to lock it? If you really don’t want people coming in through that door and it’s that big of an issue, why not lock it yourself? A few days ago we were eating at this same location we saw the same door being opened and closed repeatedly by a family of brown people. I’m sorry I understand it’s our fault but that wasn’t nearly as terrible to be yelling at us like that. You either gotta be really racist or really mean.
Also a man wearing a cap is so loud cleaning and moving the chairs around it’s sort of uncomfortable to eat. Damn try and play some music on the background at least. But I understand you gotta do your job. Overall this place is great and the food is absolutely delicious but the way you get treated won’t ever make you want to come back. At least I won’t. And this isn’t the first time. I kept wondering why they don’t have many customers. I tried to overlook this kind of treatment, but I feel like now it needs to be brought up to management’s attention.
