Samarkand Café is a charming, lantern-lit slice of Central Asia that easily earns a very strong four stars. The ambience is great and the service was fast. The grilled chicken kabobs was the best. Then the Samarkand polav. I wanted to try the corniche chicken but they said it would take 55 minutes! The waiter who welcomed us had trouble understanding English and this would be the only negative point that I can add. Food is tasty. Portions are small in my opinion.
