The courses were well timed, the perfect temperature, aromatic and flavorful. Our only minor complaint was the 1 hour wait to be seated, and they don't take reservations. Perhaps they can offer tea to those who are waiting? As they grow, a separate prayer space would be a welcome addition.“

We started with Mazza, which featured the creamiest hummus and a smoky, perfectly roasted eggplant baba ghannooj. The falafels were the highlight—simply the best I've ever had, like the perfect cherry on top of a sundae. As for the Mansaf, it was nothing short of exceptional. The rich yogurt sauce, tender lamb, crunchy almonds, and flawlessly cooked rice made for a dish that was out of this world. It was so good, I couldn't resist having the leftovers for breakfast the next day. The service was top-notch, and even though we live over two hours away, we’ll definitely be coming back.“

“Stopped by the Lincoln Park location and grabbed the OMG Plate, $14 well spent. Chose chicken shawarma, turmeric rice, Mediterranean salad, and hummus. The chicken was juicy and flavorful, the rice perfectly seasoned, and the salad crisp and refreshing. Portion size was generous, and everything was fresh. Service was quick and friendly, making it a great spot for a healthy, satisfying meal.“

“Found this fast food counter while walking around during lunch time one week day while visiting my son in Chicago. It’s located in the Merchandise Mart. Very good food. Yummy toppings. Chipotle Mayo Sauce is my favorite. Good service. Water is extra. Also discovered Marshall’s Landing inside.“

“It was our first time visiting this restaurant, and we went with some friends who were back in town and eager to revisit one of their old favorites. We’re so glad they introduced us to it.

We started with vegetable pakoras and samosas — the pakoras were decent, but the samosas really stood out. They were fresh, flavorful, and clearly made from scratch , definitely not the frozen kind.

For our mains, my husband had the Karahi Gosht and I ordered the Seekh Kabob, along with mango lassis to drink. Both dishes were excellent — full of flavor yet perfectly mild, which was a pleasant surprise since we both have a low spice tolerance.

We finished with the badami sheer, which was just the right level of sweetness and absolutely delicious.

“I have been eating at Benjyehuda for a long time. I used to go to the LaSalle location until I changed jobs to a building across the street from this one. It's always clean, whether you are take out or dine in. It's spacious, well lit, and comfortable. The food is truly some of the best and I can never skip the fries. But, my favorite part of this location is the staff. They're always so kind, welcoming, and warm. I know my week will be made anytime I drop by.
