“We rode our bikes uptown Sycamore and wanted a healthy bite for lunch. We were super happy when we stopped by The Village Restaurant and met the owner, Jean, a sincere and kind person! The chicken and pork skewers were delicious and cooked perfectly. Another "surprise and delight" for us was the homemade tzatziki sauce—oh my!!! Jean recommended her homemade Greek avgolemono soup... this lemon chicken cream soup gets an A+! Water infused with lemon and cucumber was a nice touch. I highly recommend The Village Restaurant. We will be back soon, as this 5-star establishment is extremely memorable!”

“First visit to Huntley location. We were greeted warmly and wanted a quiet area, so they took us into the back dining area, turned down the speakers do the music wasn’t too loud. Our waitress Teagan was very helpful explaining the menu. We recommend the avocado egg rolls - sensational! We made our own burgers, very filling and took a lot home. The restaurant is clean and we love the location! It is now our go to place! Thank you for a great evening!”

“We went today to the brunch cafe after Holy Mass in the am. It was fully packed but we didn’t wait long. We all ordered but my food came out a little late, the manager (at least I think so) personally apologized and said there was a mistake in the kitchen and they are preparing the food as we speak. Honestly, I didn’t mind, it’s fine not a big deal at all. I Waited maybe 5min longer that the others at my table. I got my food and it was very good. We enjoyed it all. The bill came and it turns out I got my meal that I was waiting for a little longer for free, managers discount. It was super nice. They didn’t have to do it. It wasn’t a big deal to me. But they cared and wanted us to have the best experience. It never happened to me before at any restaurant. Thank you 🙏”

“Sam's Pizza is without a doubt the best tavern-style pizza in all of DeKalb County, and arguably all of the Chicagoland area! I have been purchasing pizza from Sam's for both myself, my family, and my crew at work for ten years and have NEVER had a bad slice!

No need to go into the city for some mediocre pizza when the best is just five minutes away! Each time I order I know the wait is going to be a bit long, but I appreciate it because I know that at Sam's they're taking the time needed to create a pizza that is TOP NOTCH every single time!

“If you want food that is delicious and more than enough in quantity, please go to Parkway restaurant. All ages are very welcome. We have been going to Parkway for decades. Also, you can dine in or use their curbside pickup. We have done both. ENJOY!!”

“I have been working at village inn for about 8 months! The family and staff are one of the sweetest genuine people you will ever meet. My nonna was battling cancer for a year and recently passed. The family gave me support and just comfort in general. I don’t only go to village to work, I go there to work and feel like family. Food is awesome, and you will find the hardest working staff. Couldn’t have asked for more supportive bosses and employees. - The restaurant also sent flowers to my Nonnas memorial!”
