Great music and friendly staff
Worst place don’t go
We had a gift card for Capri and thought we had booked a reservation for Capri. When we got there, they said your reservation is for the place two doors down. They said “it’s the same place. same owner, same menu.” It may be the same owner, but they wouldn’t honor the gift card. We tried to use the gift card for their catering service and they wouldn’t take it either. The restaurant charged my wife’s credit card for the wrong table a few months ago, so I’ve had it with this restaurant.

Great place and the food is just as good as the restaurant 2 doors down. They have a great Wednesday special and the prices are cheap. Thank you GIGI for doing 80’s prices on Wednesday. While other places have raised there prices Are we live has lowered there prices. You will never be disappointed when you eat by GIGI.

I felt the service was adequate at best. My water was never refilled. I asked for a lemon in my drink and was given a lime. The bartenders seemed more concerned about socializing with workers. Our waitress was fine but the rest of the staff, including the host seemed pre-occupied. The food, however, was excellent.
Katherine and I had a great time at Are We Live. Great atmosphere.
The service was Fantastic! Our server was always attentive right on point and the other helpers and servers were always clearing our finished dishes at just the right time while also proactively wiping off our table if we had a minor spill of food or drink. Love it!
Enjoyed a traditional gin martini with a splash of vermouth. The house gin that I wanted to try was actually very good and wes a great change from my usual go to, Bombay Sapphire. Food was amazing from Zitt è Zitt! The veal cutlets are off the charts amazing and the homemade rigatoni with sausage was delicious. I can only eat so much cream based sauce, but I finished the whole dish!
The Pasquale olive oil at the table (to dip the delicious fresh bread into!) was off the charts amazing. Katherine said it was the best tasting olive oil she’s ever had!
Parking: Every time we come to Capri, the parking lot is very full. That’s a great sign! We always find a parking spot, but you’re gonna have to drive around a bit bit if you arrive at a primetime for dinner. I saw a $10 valet option if a patron wants to choose that..

Do not attempt to visit here with a to go from a local establishment. They do not support local business. We were denied entry due to no outside food allowed.

Jasper, Family friend, mentioned this was a great spot and he was not lying! Went for birthday date with my king and left super satisfied! Honestly, Everything was top notch (marble tables, beautiful ambiance, clean bathrooms, food)! Our server, Danielle, was knowledgeable, sweet and very attentive but not annoying. Loved everything plus it was 80s theme so music was perfect for me
First time here, usually go to the regular Capri by Gigi, we really liked this place. Food was great. Portions of the roll back priced items a little smaller than when they are regular priced. Wish they had neckbones more often.
The security guard is always so rude and disrespectful, literally being rude and condescending when letting people out at night. And some bartenders don't care at all, and unfortunately management doesn't really care when you complaint these issues. Of course, there is discrimination among customers. Yes, I love this place, we spend money, but no one can treat their customers badly just because it is a popular place.

Fabulous experience. Great food and excellent service. The restaurant transforms into a club after 9:00. The DJ was a lot of 80s and 90s jams with accompanying videos. Fun, nostalgic vibe. Highly recommended for group outings.

Wow. I ad not been here in months and it’s turned into a mini night-club for the mature crowd. Burr Ridge needed this! Fun for all ages. Love it!
