The Hampton Social - Burr Ridge

The ambience is nice however the menu shrank a lot, not many choices left, and of course the sizes followed course, but the prices are still decent. Cocktails were also disappointing, I ordered a skinny margarita, but it came with at least 75% ice, so they exaggerated with the skinny .... Probably we will not go again until the warm weather returns, the main reason we chose this restaurant was the patio, their Burr Ridge location has a beachy feel which makes it enjoyable for a quick bite.

I had an incredibly good meal at the Hampton social. Bartender, Diego was fantastic. Atmosphere is really cool with live music. My two star review is because they have decided to put an 18% gratuity on every single bill. I was a single diner, not a group or large table. I choose what to tip, not the establishment. I won't be back because of this.

Best spot for a summery lunch with friends and family. Loved the food and service but the umbrellas outside seemed to cause so many issues with diners and servers alike because of how short they were. Although cute in their own vintage Euro/East coast beachy way, it definitely caused issues for bees getting trapped up inside with no escape! The tables outside were somewhat close together but still very nice and spacious, with comfortable chairs. Overall a very beautiful restaurant inside and out. Very delicious food, and we had our own water carafe which was awesome too. However, the only problem all afternoon was a table close by who were extremely loud, constantly getting up and taking selfies, knocking over their own chairs, shouting over each other, banging the table while laughing, clinking their wine glasses, and even flirting with the server! I'm not sure if they had too much to drink or what, but how they still remained to carry on like that is beyond me. Whereas everyone else dining outside was respectful and reserved, that table made it difficult to enjoy the pleasant summery day, unfortunately.

Hosted my daughter’s bridal shower in the Montauk Room. It was AMAZING! Service was the best - everyone loved the food! I can’t recommend this venue enough for the perfect shower! Thank you so much!!!

Everything we've had is fire - lobster roll, green goddess salad, calamari, burger, shrimp tacos. Vibe is so cute!! Great service. My wife liked her cocktails and I love the non alcoholic options too. 5 stars

I was excited to find the Burr Ridge location which is closer to my house.. because I really like the Chicago location, but honestly, the experience just didn’t compare. The salmon and oysters were fine, but nothing special.

The biggest letdown was the $21 sausage pizza I got to go. It barely had any sausage or cheese, and it was really burnt. I really wish I had said something to the waiter at the time. For the price, that pizza should’ve been way better. I am sure the pizza is normally better than this but for some reason the person who cooked it didn’t care about the product they served to their customers that night!

I am pretty disappointed. Next time, I’ll just make the trip to Chicago.

Everything was great and the service was wonderful. The only thing we didn't like is that there was an 18% tip on our drinks at the bar that we didn't even look at and then we tipped on top of that. I do think we should be alerted that tip is included

I've been to this restaurant several times, and comparing its early days to what it is now, I’m disappointed. Most dishes have clearly had their portions reduced and the prices have remained the same. (?????) which is a bit expensive. It's a shame because I really liked this restaurant...

Staff are always top-notch, friendly, and good at their jobs. The ambiance is nice and the restaurant is well-decorated. However I've never been impressed with any of the few dishes I've tried here. Just below average to average, which is especially unfortunate given the higher prices and smaller portion sizes. So if you want to go for the ambiance, go for it. But if you want standout food, go somewhere else!
