The Hampton Social - Burr Ridge

Amazing quality as always. Alyssa was very attentive and made sure I was properly taken care of. I absolutely love coming here and will continue to do so. You can't go wrong with the Honey Soy Glazed Salmon. I get it every time I come.

The windows were open and we were in the back inside corner booth of the bar area behind the privacy wall. It got really warm (no air circulating) and it was VERY loud sitting there. Will take that into consideration next visit. Our waitress was FANTASTIC and patient, it took a while for the last members of the party to arrive. She was VERY cognizant of food allergies and had terrific recall for a party of 7. Prices have gone up some, not unexpected but noticeable. Food was really good. Fish portion in the Fish'n'Chips was smaller than expected. First time for 5 of the 7 members of the party, they enjoyed themselves.

You are in Burr Ridge, so okay, you can be a bit pricey. have some class with it. 18% automatic gratuity to a crowd that normally starts at 20% is low class. and $350 for “bar food” for a family is four with one beer and one alcoholic drink is insane.

We went to Hampton Social on Father's Day. It was not very busy. We sat for 30 minutes and nobody ever came to take our drink order or check on us so I got the manager. She took our drink order and the food and drinks came out fairly quickly. The server never checked on us and then we waited another half hour for the bill. The manager didn't give us free drinks or anything after having such bad service. The food is excellent, but for the prices we're paying, we'd expect much better service.

We had a great experience at this place. We ate outside under an umbrella and we felt like we were all on vacation. We very much enjoyed all of our meals. This is a special place.

I ordered the roasted chicken dish, since they told me it was the only option that could be made gluten free. It was so tough I couldn't even cut it with a steak knife. They did take it off our bill but I have been consistently disappointed in the food. I have tied to go there several times. I love the ambiance, decor, the wine and the live music. But I am always disappointed in the food and that they automatically add gratuity on your bill. It seemed like our server was doing all she could, but don't go there for the food!

The Burr Ridge location is really nice and like the bright layout when you walk in with the bar area and other separate dining areas. We had a nice lunch and enjoyed our sandwiches.

My friend and sat outside and split an appetizer, 2 drinks and an order of shrimp tacos. The bill was $126! The tacos used to have 3 tacos in an order, now the order is 2! They charged us $4.00 extra for corn tortillas instead of flour. I could've bought a whole pack of 50 tortillas for that price and here I am asking for 2 corn tortillas! My friend ordered a margarita that came in a short glass not a margarita size glass - and asked for mango and they charged her $21.00 for the original margarita then $4.00 for the magno and then $3.00 for the agave syrup. So her small margarita was $28.00. CRAZY!!!! Never again will I go there to eat. Instead of skimping on your clients provide the right amount of food and alcohol so you get repeated customers. We are not in the “Hamptons” or on rush street to charge those prices. Might want to rethink your prices for the near future for I don't see a future for your restaurant.

Honestly the food, service, and ambience are all fine. I will never go back due to the fact they auto charge 18% to a party of 2. Plenty of options around without needing to deal with this...which should be illegal!!

The food is good and well prepared. The selection of menu items might seem limited to some diners. I would definitely return. Shrimp Tacos were awesome. Appetizers good too. Only thing is there is an 18% percent charge added to the bill. Nobody told us about that but I did notice it. People not noticing will leave a tip for double the amount intended so watch out for that.

I came here straight from the airport because I love the service, food and vibes. Perfect for brunch or anything else. Service was excellent and I appreciated the birthday surprise. Looking forward to my next visit.

We've been before but not for awhile. At first didn't mind that 18% tip is added to bill as we understand the restaurant business and difficulties they are currently facing. What we didn't like is once we declined dessert, we were unable to pin down our server. We tried checking out via app but didn't wish to pay a platform fee that was added on in last step of payment. We asked if we could pay normally and were told we could. Although we could not get our server back to table so we asked bartender to check us out. Sadly we left with a bad taste in our mouth

Everything was great except for the 18% service charge added to the bill. I usually tip more than that, but feel strongly that is my decision and should not be automatically added to the bill at a suburban restaurant.

Very good food but service was only fair. The salmon was outstanding. The banana cream pie is a must order. Absolutely amazing !
