Met for lunch with friends from work and split all sorts of appetizers. Truffle fries, mushroom pizza, calamari and bruschetta. There's all solid. Not super expensive, good value. Cool decor nice place to hang out for a long lunch.

Oyster Fest was a ruse apparently... stayed that each guest could get 12 oysters. They ran out and we barely as a table of 4 got 12

They were not prepared for National Oyster Day. Our dinner reservation was for 6:30pm and we were told that we could not order oysters. After some back and forth, we were finally able to order 2 dozen oysters for 5 people. We waited 2.5 hours for the oysters. They only gave us 22 oysters out of the 24 that we were supposed to receive.

I had made reservations for National Oyster Day, specifically to have raw oysters on the half shell. I had never been there before but since it was very close to I294, I thought it would be a nice treat to meet my husband on his way home from work. He got there first and the server, Mia, got him a beer while he waited for me. Once I got there, we were informed there was a wait for oysters, so we placed our order for them right away. After 30 minutes with no oysters, we were comped an appetizer. After 2 drinks each, waiting well over an hour in time and still no oysters, husband asked for the check, which the manager comped in full. While we appreciated what the manager did, and our server Mia was trying her best, we were extremely disappointed. This was the first time, in 13 years of husband driving this particular commute, that I had made reservations for a special dinner for us to meet halfway. Since Hampton Social had a special on oysters for National Oyster Day, I figured why not give them a try. I doubt we will try again next year. The food I did see go to tables did look good. I have no idea if food any good. Husband did like the hot pretzel sticks appetizer, which being gluten sensitive I could not eat. Mia tried really hard to take care of us, and the rest of her tables but the restaurant really was not prepared for oyster day, sad to say.

We went here for National Oyster Day and they were out of oysters. Were told it would be about an hour wait for them. Our waitress was extremely frazzled and inattentive. Our food was overcooked. We had to ask for drinks and water. Our plates sat on our table for 30 minutes after we finished. We also waited 30 minutes after placing our first drink order to receive them. We almost left. We have been here before and had a great experience. So perhaps this was just because of the oyster special they were running, but it was very disappointing.

It was such a great meal. I had the tofu entree and it was spectacular. Would definitely recommend if you are in the Burr Ridge area.

It was oyster day. Took 1/2 hour to get one dozen. We immediately put in our order for another dozen, waitress said it'll be awhile cause there was 50 dozen ahead of us?? Hour twenty minutes later she said order still wasn't entered. We paid for what we ate and left. Why advertise $1 oysters when you can't even get them.

I have been here several times the Caesar salad is by far the best. This time it has so much dressing on it the lettuce was soggy. At the bottom of my bowl was over a table spoon of extra dressing and the croutons were like rocks.

No acknowledgment from waitress re: friend's birthday who came with. Food was very overpriced for what you got. A salad with protein and one drink cost $55 before full tip.

Very friendly staff, fun environment, and clean. Enjoyed meeting my friend here. Would definitely recommend to everyone.

Inaccurate menu descriptions and unnecessary allergen's added. Tree Nuts - pistachios - were sprinkled on the Grilled Octopus. This was not an ingredient listed in the menu description. Thankfully, my son didn't die.

Service was mediocre at best. Fortunately the server let us know 18% was already added on for gratuity for our family of 4. Perhaps because they know they're guaranteed an 18% tip they don't put in much effort. Or maybe we just had a bad first experience. Too bad because I think the food had potential to be good. For the price to value, we wouldn't return.

The food was good and the server did a nice job. The restaurant was pretty warm and big flying everywhere which was gross. I know people like the big windows open but if I wanted to sit outside and be warm with bugs everywhere, I would have chosen the patio or ate in my own yard. Spend some money on the air shields if you are going to insist on keeping the windows open.

We have been happy in the past to find gluten free options served and a willingness to make accommodations for my 11year old nephew who has Celiac disease. In the past he was given (actually listed/read) gluten free option substitutions for his entree side (i.e. he was given a small salad with no croutons instead of french fries that have a cross contamination risk). This time when we asked for the small salad instead, we were told there would be an up charge and that when our server checked with the chef manager she was told it would be an additional charge (although we had not been charged in the past). When we advised we previously had not been charged, as he cannot eat the side included, he then was brought a small bowl of plain lettuce with his meal (btw his entree was not ordered from the kids menu) with nothing on it, not a veggie or shredded cheese , not even salad dressing! Honestly, I was shocked, as this has not been our previous experience. Even though we enjoy the food and live very close, we will think twice about returning after this last experience. Frankly, it was upsetting for my nephew and all 5 of us dining to receive such treatment.

First time at Hampton Social. The vibe is fun and definitely laid back. Met a friend for brunch on a quiet Sunday. Waited quite a while to have drink order taken. When it arrived, it was tasty and the server was conscientious enough to bring a straw. For food, we ordered the Brussels sprouts which were delicious. For my entree, I had the Denver scramble, which was tasty and the tater tots were perfectly crispy. However, I had to ask for ketchup and jam for my toast. We finished up with the Churro cake and it was excellent! Overall, food was excellent, service left me wanting and it was a bit overpriced though I wasn't surprised. I would probably give it another try.
