The live entertainment was excellent but it was so loud we literally could not have a conversation across the table. I could only talk to the person right next to me and even that was a struggle

The service was below average and a couple items on the menu were unavailable. The venue is good, and live music is awesome. Cocktails are expensive but worth it. The whitefish was awful; sea bass was good. And although succotash is on the menu as a side, they don't really have it. Think Frozen mixed vegetables. Overall, I would go here again with appropriate expectations and maybe try the French Dip.

I recently had the pleasure of attending a birthday party at Johnny’s Cab, hosted by my friend DJ Sultan (Ped)—and I was seriously impressed. The space was spacious, accommodating, and had just the right vibe for a lively celebration.
The food? Absolutely delicious. The staff? Friendly, attentive, and truly made the night feel seamless. But what really stood out to me as a photographer and someone in the event industry was their sound and video setup—top-notch and clearly built for unforgettable experiences. You can tell they didn’t cut any corners when designing this space.
If you're looking for a venue that brings together great food, fantastic energy, and an entertainment-ready setup, I highly recommend Johnny’s Cab. It’s the kind of place that knows how to throw a party right.

Jonny Cabs/Whisper Room are gems! The vibe/atmosphere is elegant/chic. Great drinks (definitely try their Paloma) and delicious food (how can Brussel sprouts taste so good?!) Vegetarian friendly and my non vegetarian friends loved the lamb dish. Cookie skillet with ice cream will not disappoint!
The staff and management take care of their customers and kind. Live music is a plus with various talents AND they offer salsa/bachata/cumbia lessons too. When you want to go to an intimate speakeasy vibe just walk through their cool bookcase door into the Whisper Room.

Great gem in Burr Ridge. Love the energy from when I walked in. Can’t go wrong with any of the food, fried zucchini was hand cut and perfectly crispy. I got the skirt steak and my husband got the prime rib. Wow on both. Prime rib was spot on. We aren’t easy food critics! This was memorable. The new speakeasy is so cute, definitely a perfect place for a night cap.

Was there recently for a friend's birthday. It was my first time, and probably my last. They had a decent crowd, but it looked like they only had a few staff serving the tables. Ordered a Johnny Cab burger. Asked for med-well. Burger was dry. Fries were bland as well. There was a band that night, so if you stay past 8, I think. They will add $10 to your bill. This would not be a place I would go for dinner.
