The Great American Bagel

I ordered two grilled CHICKEN bagels online for delivery and received two grilled cheese bagels, I verified that I had placed the order correctly and I did. Not sure how you miss the the main ingredients of the bagel sandwich. Very upset.

Idk man. Bagel was oddly dry and crumbly? Bacon not that great of quality? Maybe I should just try something else…

The order placed was not received. 7 of 13 bagels were wrong. Did the bakers dozen special and received one extra I guess for the error. Received 4 plain or egg maybe and 3 I don't know what. I did not order ANY plain and didn't order 4 grain honey due to allergy, and 1 looks like oat also not ordered.
My number was provided and they could have called or texted for substitute if they were out. This was purchased for someone else... for guests.

Awful customer service!
I ordered for delivery through Uber, the driver was told he was not allowed to open the bag to check the items, he was also told that everything was there. It wasn’t.
They didn’t call to tell me they didn’t have certain things so they just put whatever they wanted in the bag. I have no idea what is here and they didn’t either. They were unwilling to fix it.
They didn’t put two of the cream cheeses I ordered in the bag and they also didn’t fix it.
Never ordering anything from them again. She was so rude and annoyed with me somehow that she screwed the entire order up. How do you screw up bagels? How do you not call to make sure you can change an order. What if someone has severe allergies etc?

I typically love the Great American Bagel. I am not trying to be an difficult but they refuse to give enough cream cheese on a bagel, they spread it like its butter no matter how many times I ask. I also have noticed that on the asiago bagel, the cheese is now non-existent and they charge $7.65 for one. If you own this store, check O'Hare's prices which lower. Yes, an airport is lower than Burr Ridge and much better quality. One more question. Why doesn't the staff speak English? This is still America and while I appreciate immigrants, I do think it is fair to ask for service in clear English, especially for an overpriced Bagel where it is located. I have been to your shop at least 50 times and work in the area. Today was the last time I will support your store.

I'm not usually a bagel or raisin fan, but their cinnamon raisin bagel was fantastic! I even bought a variety dozen to take home.

Their bagels are good but they put hardly ANY cream cheese on their bagels. I stopped going there because there was just no cream cheese!?‍♀️

Unbelievable!
We stopped by this morning TRYING to get a couple of bagels. The 3 people behind the counter couldn't even handle the 3 people in line! When we Finally got waited on, the woman asked us at least 6 TIMES what our order was and couldn't even get it right!!!
Just a Major language barrier here... Ridiculous!
After she asked us what our order was for about the sixth time, we finally just gave up and walked out after a good 15 minutes of this nonsense. At that point, we knew she was just going to screw up our order no matter what... Meanwhile, the other people there were obviously just as frustrated with the wait, and another person was complaining that their order was wrong...
If you like Great American Bagel, do yourself a huge favor and head to the one on Ogden Avenue, in Westmont.

You guys calls this a bagel with cream cheese? this is a smear of cream cheese. I always ALWAYS have issues with this location. so skimpy for the prices and they don’t care whatsoever.. I ordered what I thought was a smoothie and i was wrong. it was literally all melted and more like a juice.

I ordered a bagel with cream cheese and lox yesterday for pickup and took 2 bites and realized it had a terrible taste and a smell to match. I believe the lox had spoiled so I called after I tossed it out and they said they were closing for the day. I said ok well im calling to let you know I just picked up from there and got spoiled food and thought you should know and all they said was “ok” and hung up. If that isn’t disgusting I don’t what is and terrible customer service to match. Had me sick to my stomach all day.
