Sam's was great, for a long time. Over the last several years, post-covid, it feels like service and quality went down. Great burgers here as well as onion rings, and root beer floats! There was no carhop service when we came today, but it was just as easy to walk up to the window to order. We ate at one of the outdoor picnic tables.It’s a scenic country drive to get here from Rockford.
We have eaten at Sam's before, so I should have left a review long before now. They deserve your fast food business. They have great food, surprisingly low cost, and friendly service, all with a nostalgic eat-in or outside seating.
