It is a great little coffee/bakery with inside and outside seating. Everything was excellent and I would highly recommend it.

I've tried a lot of coffee shops (it's kind of a hobby!), from Madison to Chicago and Indiana. But Sweet Bean is definitely my favorite- hands down. Their coffee is seriously amazing, and the best part is it's always CONSISTENTLY good, no matter when I go or who makes it.
Highly recommend Sweet Bean!!!!

This is one of my favorite small businesses in the Rockford area! I highly recommend this family-owned restaurant to anyone who lives in Byron/the Rockford area or is driving through the area. The coffee, food, and bakery items are delightful. They have great customer service, and not only are they kind to their customers, but they also support the Rockford area youth by sponsoring a non-profit. The people I have recommended to go here have not been disappointed.

Unfortunately, very poor hours of operation. Weekend hours are limited with some days entirely closed. With this being the only coffee shop in town (small country town) it’s disappointing to say the least. Seems as if this was opened by someone with money who wants to say they own a small business, but are not dedicating the time and resources they’re required to satisfy customer needs on a busy schedule.

Quick service, chill ambiance, friendly workers. The spinach & feta pastry I ate was tasty & my partner enjoyed her “Christmas in a Cup” coffee drink.

Absolutely rude Manager and owner. I called to place an order on a wedding cake and spoke with Mendy the owner. She told me she can only make a 3 tiered cake and no sheets cake or anything complicated. I told her we would call back because we needed to get more cakes and needed to find other places like Costco to order sheet cakes. Called back 2x and they gave me the run around. The Manager even said we might not be a good fit for you because I asked if we can have a tasting to buy and taste. I finally called back after waiting 3 days to hear back and I was told they can't take my order because they have another wedding they just booked. I felt like she turned me down because I complained I didn't get a call back for days. She spoke to me so rudely I had to hang up. I wouldn't go here. Customer service is horrible!
