There are several bars in Byron, all within several feet of each other. With that said Uptown is the unique one. It has a bowling alley. Also they tend to go off road with their food. The have unique twist on regular restaurant and bar food. They are like the Burger King in the sea of McDonald's. You have to go there at times to break the monotony.

Lovely place, had a club meeting here with 25~ people. They had a private room for us and had service the entire time. The food was to die for, highly recommend.

This place keeps getting better. I highly recommend the Salmon sandwich, burgers and lobster nachos! Really everything is good. Definitely not what you expect from.a bowling alley, please don't let that fool you out of trying it out!

The duck won tons are absolutely amazing! I just came for some quick drinks and apps with a friend while in the area and we were blown away by how cool the place is and how good that appetizer was. Great bar with some really well kept bowling lanes attached right in the heart of downtown with a rooftop bar to boot! What a cool place! Never time I am in the area I will definitely be back!

Not really impressed. Very noisy. Not impressed with the food. I had the pork tenderloin. It was greasy and grizzly. Fries were cold when we got out food.

Clean your beverage lines!!! Stopped here while my daughter was at a friends house in Stillman Valley and noticed my drink tasted strange.I very politely asked if the bartender would mind pouring a fresh glass and she gave me another one in a smaller glass just to test (no problem)She returned after about 7 minutes and when I informed her it tasted just as bad she developed an attitude and said maybe I didn't know how a Blue Moon should taste?!?!I responded it shouldn't taste dirty and got up and left...

We've had a few good experiences here but tonight was AWFUL. The waitress, to her credit, was attentive and is not the cook. The food however was absolutely awful. The chicken Caesar wrap my daughter got was literally WITHOUT CAESAR DRESSING. The "Italian beef" my husband got was not an Italian beef at all. When he said that to the waitress she took it to the cook who said that's an Italian beef. An Italian beef has shredded beef, not two inch thick chunks of three pieces of meat. It was honestly just gross. Actually the cheese and giardinara were missing from the sandwich. We've had their Italian beef and it used to be wonderful, but they've changed something for the worse. The lobster roll was not something I'd order again but in their defense I've never had a lobster roll so IDK what it's supposed to be. Maybe it's on point and just not my thing? The worst part was the menu they hand you has different prices than on the bill. That alone is infuriating!

We had the Friday night cod fish fry. Supberb! Crispy on the outside, tender on the inside! We ate on the rooftop, and had excellent service from waitress Candace. We'll definitely be back. I highly recommend Uptown Lanes for their Friday night fish fry!

The bartender was SO sweet!!! My son and I went on a one-on-one day and she consistently checked in on, talked to my son like he was a real person, and we had an absolute blast when bowling. The turkey club was one of the best turkey clubs I've had in a long time! 12/10 would absolutely recommend!
