Throughout my bowling life in Chicago, I have never bowled at Castaways. But since Bluebird is no longer, all my bowling family has been sparsed to different houses. I miss the Chicago bowling vibe (I live in Cali now) so it was refreshing to see all my brothers and sisters again during my visit.
The people were friendly. The cost is average The good was pretty decent . I think they had pool tables but I didn't play . It was fun. Now this is not my personal experience but I heard it could get rowdy and sometimes dangerous. That was not the case when I was there but you never know , heads up
