Very disappointed in the food. So sad how things and people in these businesses has change since covid. I can go into a whole spill on the experience my husband and I had. However just know it was not at all pleasant. Will never return again to this location calumet city.

Ok let's start by saying I like the food but some of the staff needs to be retrained. I came here for mother's day @8:20p for a take out order and a youngman told me to hold on and that he will take my order but the females had been a little rude like they didn't want to take my order and they turned me around saying they stopped taking orders @830p and they close at 9p and I just take that as them pushing people away and not wanting to work until close .

I had not been in outbacks, to sit down to eat in about 10 years. Let me tell you, THE FOOD WAS HORRIBLE! I ORDER THE CHICKEN AND STEAK WITH A BAKE POTATO AND ASPARAGUS. THE POTATO WAS NOT COOKED, AND WAS HARD TO EAT INSIDE. THE SPEAK THAT I ORDER WAS TO BE WELL DONE, BUT NOT BURNT, IT WAS SO HARD THAT I COULDN'T CUT IT. THE BILL CAME AND THEY TOOK $10.00 OFF, THE BILL WAS STILL $47.42, FOR ONE PERSON. RIDICULOUS
Worst experience I've had at a restaurant in a while. I made an order online on 6/17/23, I ordered the Steak with the Ribs and a Lobster Tail. They said, per the app, my order would be ready by no later than 8:13 pm. Got an alert about 10 mins before my time. I decided to wait an additional 10 minutes before I left out thinking that it would be crowded. I arrived at 8:30 or so and put in my space number for the curbside. A female came out at about 8:50 or asking for my name. I waited another 15 mins and went inside to inquire about my delay. Finally at roughly 1hr after my scheduled time I received my meal. I asked why would y'all tell me y'all wrapping it up with my meal and it's nowhere near ready. She says it's all done by the computer and absolutely can't be controlled. The restaurant wasn't crowded so it would have been better to order a dine-in and request to go trays for a much faster service. After all that, my food came Luke warm which to me indicated my food was done sooner by not being prepared to go and it was just sitting out. Please fix your ordering system to accurately keep patrons up to date with the correct status.
