Everything was fantastic. We mmmm'ed and exclaimed how perfectly our meals were prepared. Moist turkey. Lovely fresh green beans and carrots. Tasty mashed potatoes with I'm guessing white pepper. The rolls: lovely substantial morsels. Just terrific food which we thoroughly enjoyed.
My girlfriend and I have, for the last 8 years, dined out at least once a week at well known excellent restaurants. This is only our fifth visit to Balmoral but that is enough to be confident that it is truly an exceptional experience. The restaurant focuses on Scottish foods, which is in itself unusual. This place is a hidden gem. Let's keep it that way! You feel like you're in Europe for sure, and the food was amazing. You feel like there's this little old Scottish lady in the back cooking away. Also, the bagpipe man... he's playing the bangers!
