We went on a Friday night and had the fish dinner. Both the broiled and the fried dinners were very good. The service was quick and friendly. The prices were descent as well. This seemed like a great place for families.

We were in town for one of the Sawmill Center events and stopped here for lunch. Clean, quiet, good lunch. A bit pricey for that, but prices are high everywhere. We ordered 2 burgers/fries and one grinder/chippers with some drinks and the bill was $60. Staff was very friendly and bathroom was clean. I’ll stop here again. I enjoyed it.

Traveled with family to see the "big trees" and we made plans to eat at the Trail's End first. Fun rustic place with good basic food and friendly service.

Note that we took our food to go because we were still concerned about COVID...the restaurant was pretty crowded on Friday night. We had the fried chicken dinner off the limited bar menu (judging by this and the weird hours, the place has not yet recovered from COVID and staffing challenges). However, it was some of the best fried chicken I have ever had. Really, really good. I wouldn't recommend this place if you are really watching your cholesterol...it's definitely a greasy spoon...but the food was excellent. I can't judge the table service, but I'm taking the star off for it not being clear there was a limited menu and it not being 100% clear where we were supposed to pick up our order...slightly better signage would be helpful. They don't have a takeout window and put your order at the end of the bar. Which is fine, but it did take us a little bit of time to find it. But I would definitely eat there again if I'm ever back in the area.

We ate lunch here while visiting cooks Forrest. I had the shrimp with fries and slaw. Everything was really good. My wife had the salmon and green beans. She really enjoyed here meal also. The bread they serve before the meal is really good also. Prices are a little high but the food was delicious.

I live in Bradford and was there in ate August. my friend and I had a Cabin at Mc Beths. Girls weekend. We were highly recommended to go to the restaurant. Oh my...started with this amazing spinach artichoke dip...OMG!! Then we both got steaks done to perfection. had green beans and have never eaten yukky green beans so yummy!! I cant wait to go back, which will be real soon, since the weather is breaking. I will order the same thing....since it was so wonderful. Friendly people and the best food ever.
My picky eater want feeling well and only wanted a pb&j so I figure there was no harm in politely asking if accommodations could be made. I honestly asked in the most polite, respectable way and the waitress got right in my face and yelled at me! Everyone in the place looked over at us completely shocked. I was appalled! Ended up not ordering but the rest of the family were hungry so ordered them a small side (which was insanly priced for crap deep fryer food) to hold them over until we could go somewhere different. Next day we stopped at The Forest Nook (up the street). Pb&J right on the menu :) that made our day! Haha.

Last time we were here was 6 years ago for our last visit in Cook Forest. Got a reservation with no issue. Meatloaf was excellent and my wife's nachos were so large that I had to help her finish. Very good food

Husband and I made our hour trip to Trails End for the prime rib. We go about twice a year. The prime rib is the best around, so tasty, juicy, cooked to perfection, and cuts like butter. All their food coming out of the kitchen looks wonderful, but, we ALWAYS get the prime rib.....soooo yummy!

Very cool place to hang out and have a beer or two and enjoy some great food and watch the game while you take the time to say high to the owners peg and jeff or to the beautiful bartender named brandy.
Beer was good and cold
