it's been a month since returning to Applebee's in Carbondale due to horrible service. myself Jamie and family gave a last shot and our server nailed it, we will come dine if he is there, his name was Darryl. Truly a gifted server understands direction and listens to his guest so there's no room for error. Being a Lawyer character I focus on and from analysis point of view the leadership is horrible. Applebees could be a better place on a daily for friends and family. if I see this many others do and the area where all the workers congregate it's a shame to hear other tables complain about service and I've just received the best restaurant experience ever! please applebees help us the people truly help the people were the reason Applebees is up and standing. Kid-friendliness: Daryl treated the children as Humans! Servers DO NOT speak to children and servers forget the children are the reason we go out and dine majority of the time.
Food was good,not great but okay. Service sucked!! Took over 30 minutes to get the all you can eat ribllets. Asked for a soda refill 10 minutes ago and still waiting. No not busy,well busy talking, only 3 people in here right now. Won't be coming back.

Usually good food and service. This time, the server was new, very new. Not being mean to the guy, just new. However, he forgot my drink (dinning alone) and got my order wrong.
The manager took care of me very well and helped the server get in a rhythm. I went easy on the guy; we've all had a rough start before.
The food was great, had a chicken salad & boneless wings. Always good food.

Haven’t been to Applebees in over 15 years. It was clean, food came out hot and fresh. Tasted good enough and most importantly my niece had a good bday experience.
Dietary restrictions: They have Gluten Sensitive menu items.
Dead atmosphere, waited ten minutes without even being asked our drink order after we sat down (not even water, it's 103F outside today), so we left. Rated food at 4 because it's usually good food at any Applebees.

Got seated by a hot window with no blinds. Sat there for over 30 mintues not a word was said no order given, no one came and checked on us. Never even ordered, walked out. Terrible.
Kinda dirty. Unprofessional staff. Food was mediocre. The bartender gave me a shaker cup and a martini glass for an impossible margarita.

Applebees has great deals on appetizers and drinks late at night. We got $1 mini margaritas and $5 appetizers. Zero wait for tables. Fast service.The atmosphere and service: there were only a handful of people on a Friday night. The TV next to our heads was blaring. We asked if it could be turned down and the bartender was more than happy to turn it off, which was great. Our server checked on us often and even helped us come up with a system to signal when we were ready to order (as slow orderers).-Accommodating Bartender & ServerFood: there are not vegetarian options besides bread for the appetizers, which is a bummer. We had the pretzel bread and fries, which were very rich, salty, and greasy. It would have been nice to have fresher options on that menu or to be able to order some of the other items without meat (like the egg rolls).
Vegetarian options: Pretzel Bread comes with mustard and cheese dip-no meat (we checked)Fries

Honestly we went there for dollar margaritas because we’d been joking around about the commercial, but it was really good! Amanda and Camira took good care of us. The wings were yummy and crispy and the bourbon street chicken & shrimp had great flavor. Margaritas were great. We will be going back.
Wheelchair accessibility: Accessibility is average. The two sets of doors are a bit difficult to open in a chair

Empty quite often but the good is spectacular and the staff is excellent, just usually not up in front ready to seat you. But seat yourself! They’ll be round. And everyone’s so friendly. Great if you like watching sports on huge screens too! All different sports! Just wish more people would go. Quesadilla burger and onion rings are my favorite order!
Great service tonight. Staff was so friendly and made it a fun experience. Music was really good too.
